@@joans3699 we were learning about body systems and my teacher wanted to make it more interesting since we were a day ahead of the other classes, so we just learned a lot about reptiles' body functions and systems. Other than the people who don't like snakes, just about everyone enjoyed it, and my teacher made a Where's Waldo thing with a snake Waldo-- it was kinda funny. sadly that about the best way I could describe the lesson since I'm not too good with those kinds of things :>

Absolutely! I’ve got a doggo rather than any reptiles, but watching Emily and Ed talk about them will NEVER get old! I especially enjoy the rescue stories and seeing the individual care they provide to each critter that comes in, along with their policy of not judging people who have to surrender their reptiles! I hope I’m never in a position where I can’t take care of my dog, but if it ever did come down to that, I would hope I could find somebody like them to get him to somewhere loving and safe!

I just love how Emily and Ed have embraced their fans. Instead of getting egos about being so popular, they just continue to have fun with everyone and seem to truly appreciate the fact that all the fans really means that they are getting their education message out successfully. I can vouch for Stoned Geckos. They came to our local show and I bought a Chahoua from her three weeks ago. They are incredibly friendly, informative, and her geckos are well socialized.

Props to Ed! I am not sure I would be so nice getting filmed while asleep and then a curtain of sunshine in my face first thing. You rock, Ed! The face of the little boy when Emily and Ed come through the Fire and Ice Reptiles display is too cute. Emily's interaction with the kiddos has all the feels. I love all the shots of the mantids and the lady with Stone Geckos - just loving her breed. I have to make it to one of these events.

To funny, we made it in a Snake Discovery video sitting on the ground against the wall at 4:40. First time at Tinley reptile show, was able to see you two fantastic people and Dave Kaufman. I learned a very valuable lesson here, stick with the vendors you know. I unfortunately had a not good experience purchasing two Uromastyx from one of the vendors out of Lockton, NY. You both are so fun and to see you in action was a blast. My husband still can't believe how tall Emily is. Thanks for being such good representatives. 🥰 Much love to you both.

Buying the stuff seems like it's real hard to balance with the meet and greets! I talked to you guys in Schaumburg so just waved at you a bunch of times as we crossed paths. I bought so much stuff for my leopard geckos this Tinley, they have new bigger enclosures, and so many new hides. Was very tempted to pick up other animals since I now have empty enclosures 😂🤣😂

The color might have shown better on camera because of the white "background" pellets the snakes were in in the deli. Could also be the sunlight. If you don't already have photo box lighting it might be worth looking into, especially for those beautiful lavender hognose's. I've been waiting for this video. Looked like a blast. It's so wonderful that you want to meet your fans in this way, though i think at this point you might need a few helpers when you do meet and greets so that you do get a chance to have a break. Maybe some of your fans who have other con volunteer experience in the area who could help out.

I’ve met Emily before, not at tinley or a meet and greet. I met her at her reptile zoo/store like maybe more then a few months ago. She was so nice! We got a picture and meting her was amazing. Think my heart skipped a few beats hehe…it was an experience. If you get the chance to meet her, do it! Ed was busy, I didn’t meet him but it was so fun.

I want to meet her so bad!!!! I have communicated with several fans who have met her, and they all have said she truly is the sweetie pie she seems in her videos!!! I have also personally spoken to her through email. I want to meet her badly enough to take a huge step in my life, and drive across the country to meet her. I'm in Michigan, so it's a 10 hour drive. I'm honestly very nervous about it, but meeting Emily is a very strong motivation to me to go that far out of my comfort zone. I've never left Michigan without my family, or with some kind of chaperone. I'm old enough now that I could do it, but I haven't. I've come very close to buying a plane ticket to go meet her!!!

I discovered her 4 months after 2 friends "threw me to the wolves" abandoned our friendships, like it never mattered to them. I was in a very dark place, and she was a very bright light at the end of the tunnel.

I don't know if anyone else has identified them for you, but the plants look to be a monstera deliciosa (like you mentioned), the random splotchy vine is a golden pothos, and the one with lighter green/yellow down the center is a philodendron brasil. Edit: I think I also see a mican, the one with an orange undertone

You're gonna have fun with the OBT. I'd definitely rehouse it though. They are fossorial/terrestrial and HEAVY webbers so if you give them a few inches of substrate to make a burrow and some sticks, fake plants, or some kind of decor to anchor their webs to, they will absolutely fill their enclosure with webbing. They will feel more secure with an appropriate burrow and be a bit less....ahem....spicy lol.

I agree that chahouas are smart and bond with their owners. I have a crested/chahoua gecko hybrid and I can really tell that he has some stuff going on upstairs unlike cresties 😄 he also begs to get out every night. I'm not even exaggerating. I love it. He's my buddy ❤️ Tom Harbin is great! I fell in love with a few hognose he had this show. I got my male lavender hognose, Milo, from him last show 💜

One day, when I am living in Michigan again, and it's only a 4 hour drive to Tinley, I will return to the NARBC just so I can run into you two. Love your channel. Saw my first pet reptile there when I lived nearby. Got a Giant Leachie a few months after the show. Still have him, 9 years later.
