There was this gorgeous girl at my office who was giving me flirtatious attention. It took almost 06 months for me to believe that she might like me. I decided to make a move to make her my life partner. I talked to her and about her family. She told me every thing about her family. Later, before confessing my love to her. I had an opinion from a trusted guy about the girl as I was looking for a serious relation of getting her as my wife. The guy told me that she is already engaged. This put my world upside down. Later I confirmed it from herself. I was confused whether I had too much expectation or I got played. But thank God I didn't validate her and never directly told her that I liked her.

It’s vital that a guy analyzes whether the woman he’s giving attention to is reciprocating and it’s leading somewhere. I did it and I'm happier. It sucks in the beginning, but it does get better. I look at it now.I was giving her 90% effort to her for barely nothing. Now I have woman calling,texting asking me out on dates. It's like a balanced relationship. I learned my lesson for the new woman in my life.

I delt with this at my job she said all kinds of sweet things and compliments and etc. Then come to find out she used me to make another guy jealous to make him come back into her orbit and then she ignored me . Then she comes back around every often to reel me back in. I now just no contact this female and stay away from her. The attention seekers know how to make you emotionally attached very fast and mess with your emotions. They know if you like them they will definitely use another man to make you jealous.

I think I just experienced this and didn’t realize it, my situation the girl said “ask me out now, I won’t say yes. However, ask me out later and I might say yes.” I’m in the process of moving on but it mentally messed me up. I should’ve walked away and I wish I did, because what she did really hurt. I ended up getting blocked for coming on too strong, should’ve just walked away, because she wouldn’t have hurt me and I would’ve been in control.

In my neighbour mother and her 2 teen daughters are attention seekers. They suck my attention for 2 year. Because they always come to my house and talk to my mother and sit next to me. It's almost impossible to avoid them. That was first time dealing with attention seekers. They give lots of signals of flirting which I misunderstood and thought they liked me. But when a new younger dude come to my neighbour they start same tactics with him. He also responded same. Then I noticed and googled it and it blew my mind. Now I rearly give attention to them. But now they already have enough attention from me.

I got one for u.. I move to a different side of town. The nearest gas station has a worker, that she would just stare a me.. every time I went in their, it’s was so, bad my 9 yr old daughter noticed.. I mean I’ll stare at her back, but I’ll break eye contact cuz it’s just weird.. she very pretty, anyways I got tired of the Constant stare. So, one day I wrote her a small letter, an gave her my number. A couple of days after the letter. I ran to the gas station to use the atm and one of the other girls called her name an she to her “heads up” I heard her giggling. She must have told all her coworkers, I was kinda mad.. I’m a shy guy but when I’m mad a got big fucking balls.. so, still go to the same gas station from time to time.. but, I literally act like she doesn’t exist.. girls call guy creep’s, an tarnish their image to other girls when their the ones that stares.

I was texting my ex for 2 months, she had a new boyfriend but was still telling me I miss you and think about you, but wouldn't say she wanted to meet or answer my calls or just replied when she was ready, got told by family and friends your wasting your time on her but didn't listen, was with her 6 months, she was drinking a bottle of wine every day and smoking weed, but I liked the attention at the time and company, but don't see tht when with her

I may have encountered a extreme case.. noticed it but put up with her bs for 2 weeks. By nature it made me pull back from her and stop responding , she went crazy every day and night texting me.. (what is this , why are you ignoring me , please explain , i feel hurt) we haven't even met she went crazy like cat on catnip. Sounds like the girl I was talking to , if you don’t respond to a message within 7 min she assumes your cheating and then she starts ignoring you and trying to pick fights when she was bored , didn’t respect boundaries . It’s kind of my fault though I learned my lesson ( she was with a guy he didn’t want me and her talking so she tells him she won’t talk to me no more she comes back and tells me she don’t want him to put her on a leash she does what she wants) when me and her are together there is another guy I tell her I don’t want her talking with him and I had good reason for it I would still catch her but they were sneaky so I couldn’t prove it I finally left because I couldn’t trust her and my gut was telling me she was cheating wouldn’t you know a few hours later she started streaming on KZbin she’s all happy and that same guy was in the chat saying woohooo finally out of jail. Woman like this are sneaky and they know how to manipulated and gaslight there asses off.

Just to update: she had been avoiding me for the past couple weeks and talking alone in the hallway at certain times during the day to the other guy she’s been stringing along. I was so annoyed with her that I stopped talking to her completely for 2 weeks. She noticed. And this past week started saying good morning to me and appearing in places where I go during the work go, basically following my routine, going on breaks the same time as me. My situation is complicated. I met someone via their job. I was in a relationship even though there was a vibe with his person. She continued to be involved with the situation even though she didn't need to. This is what I have been told by her boss. She chose to stay involved. I understand that she is in her professional role and can't treat me differently. So this is probably a factor. It's the impression she gives rather than what she actually says. She was off work over Xmas and she contacted me for an update (she didn't need to ask me) and she asked me for coffee. It was a more like a date even though she knew I was in a relationship.
