My hubby is now craving the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich. I sadly can't partake due to allergies. I'll surprise him with one on Weds when we get paid.😊 My holiday memory is at Christmas, too. Our small Baptist church has a candlelight service every Christmas eve. I tell our kids every year all I want for Christmas is for our family to go together. It's such a beautiful, joyful and peaceful time. There is one more I'd like to share. My husband had the foresight over 20 years ago when we bought our house to plant Christmas trees. Every year, our two kids ( even as they are getting older) go out to our front yard and help chop down our Christmas tree for that year. We have even shared our trees with a nephew who bought a house two years ago. Thank you for sharing your memories. As a parent, it's wonderful to hear how special times we share with our kids last. Hi Atticus! Thank you for another fun video! When my kids were teenagers I decided we would do a Little House on the Prairie Christmas and we had to make each others Christmas gifts. We gave ourselves a 5 dollar limit and we could use whatever we already had around the house. The gifts were ornaments for the tree, homemade candy, embroidered picture and a special Christmas story written and read by my husband on Christmas Eve. One of my favorite memories. 😊

We discovered Popeye's last year during our honeymoon in the US and we loved it ❤ and surprisingly few months ago for the first time Popeye's arrived in Warsaw too 😊 I can definitely say it is one of my favourite fast food I've tried so far, up there with in'n'out, which unfortunately I guess will never reach Poland 😂 hope I will visit US soon again 😊

I don't live in Southern California, but I spent summers in Manhattan Beach throughout my childhood, and still go for a visit every year. I went in Dec. a few years back, and the town area around the pier was decorated very nicely. As a Disney fan, probably my favorite event down there for the holidays is the Candlelight Processional at Disneyland. They only do it one night in early December, but it is really special. They have an amazing choir and orchestra that do all the traditional Christmas songs woven into the Christmas Story which is read by a guest celebrity. I highly recommend it! You should be the narrator one year, Atticus! Merry Christmas! 🌲😁 Also, it runs year-round, but obviously an Easter theme, The Hall of the Crucifixion/Resurrection at Forest Lawn Cemetary does a very cool audio/video presentation. Its been many years since I went there, so it may have changed, but I know they still offer it.

In our town, a park has a huge light show, lit animal figures, the outbuildings all lit up, large lit stars hanging in the trees, and many more. It is so bright, it can be seen from the highway. It is fun to drive through the park itself to take it all in. 💖

Awesome video Atticus! How do I like my fries? Gotta be hot, Wendy’s, our DQ, and McDonald’s are my favorites. Hot is most important, crunch, not burnt but stiff. Chicken sandwiches, chick fil A is great, Popeyes, Burger King, and Wendy’s all have a great chicken samitch, but my favorite is Culver’s. Always very fresh toppings and great flavor. Loved hearing your daily routine. Can just see you and your mom hanging out together. I’m sure she shows you appreciation but just have to say what a great son! Great video friend! Oh and for my favorite tradition, a church nearby, pastored by my youth leader from my teen years, they turn the church, inside and outside, into the Bethlehem village as it would have been in Jesus’ day. All church members dressed like Jesus days, showing how to grind grain into flour and make bread, outside they are roasting lamb, basically the live nativity on a whole other level. Live animals and nativity scene, just the coolest! They have done this for about thirty years now. It’s always a town favorite.

Watching as I eat Burgerville which is an exceptional local burger chain up here in the Portland area. It’s a little spendy compared to other fast food (around $16 for a half pound burger meal), but it’s all natural, locally sourced meat and ingredients that puts it far and above any other fast food places. Absolutely exceptional!!!

I had Popeyes for the first time when I was in Denver. Definitely a do over no floppy fries crunchy on the outside creamy inside 😋 fast food fries are no good anymore 😕 bacon cooked in the oven has the crunch without being burned. You should try the fried chicken buttermilk Sammie at Outback. Not exactly fast food, but you’ve done Red Robin. Anyway, outback’s sandwich is amazing. It’s not spiced. But just a great piece of white meat. Their pickles are slightly odd but definitely good with the sauce the use. I highly recommend trying it.

Favorite tradition was Christmas in our neighborhood when we lived in Westlake, CA... Out past Calabasas... The small little man-made lake that we lived on would have boats decked out in Christmas lights and have like a boat parade. This was back in the late 70s when things weren't as crowded... I miss the simpler times. LOL, I noticed we drive the exact same kind of car. Mine is a 2011 HHR ... But I'm 6'7"😅... And my wife noticed we use the exact same wipes, in the same cup holder. 😅

In my region the quality of the Popeyes food varies by store. Fortunately the store by my house is the best and the one by my office is a close second. I think their chicken sandwich is the best. And it’s very filling due to the large size. Always nice to share a meal with you Atticus. Today I tried Pho at a Vietnamese take out place. First time and it was excellent.

Yes, my bacon is exactly like yours. I fry it on very low heat, 30 to 40 minutes worth. It melts the fat away and leave it crispy and melt in the mouth consistency. YUM ! 😍

I wonder if there are differences at different locations for Chick-fil-A? I don't have one in my town, but there is one at a town I visit up in Southern Oregon and I haven't noticed it being greasy. I buy the Hidden Valley Ranch and Olive Garden Italian dressings at Costco and mix them 50/50 for salad dressing. I mix them at the time of each salad so they are freshly together.

Atticus. To reply to your question. I especially love Red Robin fries. They have bottomless steak fries and I also love their onion rings! But I absolutely cannot stand Popeyes. Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich like you said is exactly an 8/10. Great Video!!
