Thanks for posting this. I am a regular visitor to Attleborough. During the 2020/21 pandemic the traffic volume was as low through the town as in the video. But now it is returning to it's usually busy levels. Crossing the road is game on again! There were certain places in the video where I wished the person taking it would have walked just a little further. One example being the site that the Lidl supermarket now stands on. However, it was great to see footage of the railway station when it was staffed. It was obviously a hot day because the signal box doors were open.

Excellent post! My grandparents lived in the town from the 50's (when Grandad was Flight Lt. at Old Buckenham) to the late 80's when they moved away. I used to visit every week & then lived there for a year (82-83) and went to the high school. My Step Grandad also used to work the signal box & gate in the town. We used to live opposite Gaymers. The house is still there but empty :-( Some great memories here! Many thanks for posting. I'll be passing this on to my mum and aunt who'll love it! :-)

I spent the day 1st 26 years of my life here and watching this, feels like yesterday. Cannot believe how quiet it is on the roads and how different it looks in 2016!!

Don't get the music, video is awesome though, the old A11 going through town yet very few cars, many memories.

Rural England with Indian music....yep...sounds about right as Attleborough is no longer like this. With the town about to be more than doubled in size with a 4000 home extention I am now forced to move....Homes England should be disgusted with themselves for destroying rural Norfolk the way it has.....
