Is there much difference between the Rarotonga and the Ascention?

Yes there is, so the Ascension gives you a little more space per person and has a middle living area door which can be opened up into the canopy. It also has a pre built on enclosure for the awning area.

Is this hard to find pitches for in the uk? Its quite large.we are looking for something to use with our T5 campervan (weve got 3 kids and a st bernard) was looking at the 401 initially.

We haven’t had feedback saying that people have had issues finding pitches so as far as we know it is ok. Dometic made it a certain length to make sure it wouldn’t be an issue. So we think everything is ok.

Can a 6 foot 5 inches person stand straight up in the tent?
