The Port of Assab is indeed an integral part of Eritrea's territory, and its sovereignty should be respected by all nations. However, the current regime's actions have created more problems than solutions, not only with neighboring countries but also with internal communities. The root of the issue lies in the dictatorial regime's existence, which relies on creating conflicts to maintain its grip on power. This has led to a series of devastating wars, including the conflict with Ethiopia, resulting in countless Eritrean lives lost. It's crucial for Eritrea's neighbors and the international community to recognize the regime of Isaias Afwerki as the primary cause of instability in the region. By working together, we can bring an end to the suffering and create a democratic state where the rights and dignity of all Eritreans are respected. The regime's foreign policy has been disastrous, leading to wars with all neighboring countries. The lack of a constitution and parliament has concentrated all power in the hands of one man, creating a totalitarian state. It's time to end this regime's destructive game. We cannot afford to lose any more Eritrean youth. Enough is enough. Let's stand together for a brighter, more democratic future for Eritrea. The Voice

We see the Eritrians insulting eachother, killing eachother, blaming others around the world, instead of struggling for their freedom. Do not expect others to fight on behalf of you. Freedom will never happen like that. The Tigrians did an extraordinary movement abroad. That should be a very good example for all of us.

@ # A Call to Action for Eritrean Opposition Groups To all Eritrean opposition groups, We stand at a critical juncture in our nation's history. The Isaias Afwerki regime has ruled with an iron fist for over three decades, crushing dissent and enslaving our people. # The Time for Change is Now We must unite and work together to bring about democratic change and end the regime's totalitarian grip. We will not be deterred by the regime's propaganda or intimidated by its agents. # Key Principles for Success 1. *Unity and Solidarity*: We must present a united front and work together to achieve our common goals. 2. *Strategic Thinking*: We must prioritize pragmatic decision-making over emotional responses. 3. *External Support*: We must seek help from international organizations, solidarity movements, and other external sources. 4. *Integrity and Principles*: We must maintain the integrity of our movement and uphold democratic principles. # Vigilance and Security We must be aware that double agents may be present within our ranks, seeking to divert us from our goals. We must: 1. *Verify Information*: Ensure that any information, especially from unknown sources, is thoroughly verified before acting on it. 2. *Maintain Unity*: Foster a culture of trust and cooperation within our groups, making it harder for double agents to create divisions. 3. *Encourage Critical Thinking*: Promote critical thinking, questioning, and analyzing information before accepting it. 4. *Establish Secure Communication Channels*: Use secure communication methods to prevent infiltration and protect sensitive information. # A Call to Action We urge all opposition groups to join us in this righteous cause. Together, we can bring about democratic change and end the regime's totalitarian grip. Let us stand united, vigilant, and committed to our principles. We will not be silenced, and we will not be deterred. The time for change is now. Let us seize this moment and create a brighter future for Eritrea. *Solidarity and Unity for a Democratic Eritrea* THEVOICE

I love Assena❤ but I’m sorry one of your guests got it wrong about Tigray. What would happen between Abiy and Isaias, should he none of our business. If Abiy decides to invade Eritrea, let Eritreans go defend their country like we did defend our own People. There should be no single Tigrawai take side on this eminent catastrophe.
Am not agree with the statement about Tigray...was Eritrean people said something during Eritrean soldier did Genocide on Tiray people...ምራቀና ከይንውስኸሉ ፍራሕ፣፣
Thanks Senator Durbin, for shading light on otherwise obscured and quiet repression in Eritrea, that’s going on really since it separated from Ethiopia. The hope and aspirations of the people got dashed by the evil Isayas Afeworki, just like the Assad family inflicted repression on the Syrian people for the last 50 years
