I have the key fab you showed awhile back on my 2nd one didn't have it wired as well the first time tried to cut corners worked but didn't last a full camping season in the north. So far 2nd one has been better since that i watched your video 10 times while doing it.

How is the switch wiring different between gas and electric? My Yamaha gas has 4 wires on the key switch. I was adding a gps speedometer and used a multimeter to check the wiring. I identify the 12V from battery into the switch and two wires that each had 12V with key on. I wired my speedo to one of the 12V key outputs. Tested the speedo and buttoned the dash back up. First drive I notice the oil warning light is on. I suspected it was the addition of the new wire. I unplugged the speedo and the oil light went off. So I’m guessing the speedo is back feeding a ground signal and I must have unknowingly chosen the oil warning circuit of the key switch. I’m going to move the speedo input wire to the other key on 12V out and see if that cancels the oil warning light.

Ryan, I love your videos. Watch 'em all the time. TY. I have a 2004 CC DS I'm building/updating and have bought this key switch. I have also bought a 48V - 12V converter since the accessories were hooked up to the second battery for 16V. However, When connecting the converter to the key switch does it matter which wire you connect the converter to?

For my self I like a hidden key switch! Because a golf cart unattended is a gone cart it’s the kids going for a ride

I get to put my batteries back in for the first time since winter. I sure hope they wintered well tried charging them nothing happened charger shut off said full charge. Here is too another great carting season from Wisconsin. Just hope our shangri-la holds on and dont get hit by the wild fire since its about 10 miles from it.

Great video like always! , I prefer that kind of switch and especially because is a Honda and cover up for splashes etc , should last many many years!, when I clicked on it it shows as another brand not a honda OEM.

I have asked this question on a couple of other of your videos. I need your help. I have a 91 club car, the gas pedal is sticking, the key will not kill the car. I have to pull up the seat and put off the spark plug. The parking brake also stopped working at the same time. I hope you read comments and will respond. Thanks

Ryan With this switch i get constant on from battery meter whether + tied into red, black, green or b/w. Had tied in to blue wire(switch on only) before the change on ‘17 CC. How are u solving with non lithium set-up?

Hey Ryan I just found your channel. I have 2001 president golf cart with lift and tires all stock running gear. The Trojans are done and I'm wanting to go lithium. Can I do it without modifications. I really don't want to go down that rabbit hole. It is fast enough for me and my kids. I just want range and life span. I've been trying to look back on your videos and find something in my situation. I did see the one with the single big battery. But you have aftermarket equipment. If you could point me in the right direction I'd be greatly appreciated

Hey Ryan I have 1997 Club Car DS 48 volt my problem is I take off the cart moves about 5 feet then clicks then everything goes dead then it sits a couple minutes and something resets then does same thing again move 5 feet then same thing I have replaced the solenoid and the Controller would you have any idea what’s going on
