I do! My 2006 Rubicon is great and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I grew up on three wheelers with NO rear suspension of any kind! lol I've also rode IRS equiped quads like Kawasaki 650 models and a Suzuki King Quad. They feel unstable or top heavy to me. Ride Red!

just ridden my 09 for 3 1/2 hours-really good. Adjustable shocks give a great ride, mine only has auto or esp, not D1, D2 and esp. Seems punchy on take off, very impressed so far, much better than my Rancher AT.

I have a 2006 Rubicon "Canadian Trail Edition" comes with adjustible shocks. I love this bike, I have 6000km (4000 miles) with no problems at all. I change the oil with Honda Pro 10W40. I hear there coming out with a Rubicon 550 with electric power steering for 2010. I'll probably buy it and keep this one as a second bike.

Love the Hondamatic. I wish they would've stayed with the Hondamatic on the latest gen Rubicon. Paired with the IRS, it would've been the smoothest operating ATV on the market.

Agree! I hear that it had to be built in a cleanroom in Japan and just was too expensive compared to 'regular' transmissions.

My 06 rubi handles great down the road. re adjusted the front end alignment to handle like a champ. When I bought it it was a little squirrely going down the gravel roads, just adjusted the tire rods out .5 inch and now i can fly around corners without the front end wanting to throw me over, just get use to riding off to the side on wheels at about 35 mph, lol.

Most Hondas come with a bit of toe out. To really make them handle better adjust the toe to 0 or as much as 1/8th inch toe in.

@ozzy107 That's my point - and why we like the drive system on Yamahas, Kawasakis, and Suzukis.
@ATVTVCOM13 жыл бұрын
@oscar17211 I guess there's some that disagree ;-) We prefer to have the choice of 2wd, 4wd, or 4wd locked when we want it - not just every time the front wheels sense spin.

Thanks for posting, we don't get atvtv in the UK :-(

@bcp724life I seriously doubt that 27s will fit - depending on the brand the actual size may vary - but 26s are usually the biggest without mods or gearing problems.

@MrDoubleONothing We're not mudders but I'd guess the Rincon would be better. It has more power and can be raised easier thanks to the IRS
@ozzy10714 жыл бұрын
@ATVTVCOM yes i'd like that to be on polaris as well.

@elaposto One of our favorite machines! In fact I still own a Prairie 700.

You aren't missing much with the D1/D2 being absent. There really isn't much of a noticeable difference between the two. I have an 05 (identical to the green one in the video) and I've never been able to tell the difference between them. From what I hear, you could only tell the difference if you were to try pulling a loaded trailer with it. But even then it'd be easier to just pop it into ESP since you could just keep it in a lower gear yourself. Side note: where does this show come on?

@Pokefan100000000 Yes! The Honda is one of the most reliable machines and Can Am and Polaris are two of the most problematic machines.

@ozzy107 I say why produce a Utility ATV without the ability to choose between 2wd, 4wd, and locking in the 4wd's front differential ;-)

ppl who enjoy mudding. and don't need the weight of IRS, and something to get a winch around to pull up and out, rather than attaching to teh metal bumper and trying to pull it out by that

@ATVTVCOM As a newbie atv rider, what would you recommend me... honda Recon es/foot shift, kawasaki brute force 300, yamaha grizzly 300 or suzuki ozark 250? Thanks for the answer in advance.
@ATVTVCOM13 жыл бұрын
@Pokefan100000000 All of those are great machines, but if you can swing it I'd suggest a 4x4. The Suzuki King Quad 400 is my favorite. Also the Yamaha Grizzly 400 or Honda Rancher.

@ATVTVCOM haha I like how u say not as reliable because my cousins 2011 Honda Rubicon already had the hole electrical system fried out and my cousin jeremy still has stock tiers on his Honda rancher and it has had 2 broken axles at only 570 miles. my xp has not had a problem and heading to 4000 miles soon haha the old Honda's where reliable but the new ones suck. and i sold my Honda rincon only 2000 miles and it had to many problems. So if u whant a good honda u whant an old one
