ATV320 - How to - Configuration ATV for Modbus Tcp IOscanner

Hi, i am facing a problem and it is i have Modicon M340 plc which communicate with ATV32 over CanOpen network and i want to replace it with ATV320 and i added ATV320 canopen ESD file to project and also replace ATV320 with ATV32 in CAN hardware configuration in plc my plc still looking for ATV32 drive rather then ATV320 drive

Hi Ghulam Sarwar! At the moment my knowledge on the M340 is not that good as the other PLC but if you have change the eds and replace the drive. I recommend you to check the configuration of the ATV320 to be control + setpoint via CanOpen and in the PLC side check how are you controlling the device then analyse and build the application to download it again. Hi, I have almost the same configuration only that it is over ModBus RTU not TCP. How can I modify the output registers and perform the starting sequence of the ATV? Is there any libraries that I can use? Thanks!

Hi there! For modbus serial communication you have a different area for the ioscanner. I've done all the parameters that you have shown on terminal. However when I send a data then it gives CnF error. I'm sending again 128 and reset the fault then it gives agan the same fault. Can you please help ?

Hi there! Without being with you checking the drive is difficult, please follow the next faq: www.se.com/in/en/faqs/FA383980/ If this does not work, check cable comm param also in the plc and finally reset the drive just in case you configured something that it shouldn’t.

Hi there! If the ethernet comm card is not installed in the atv320 then you need the programming cable TCSMCNAM3M002P. In the pc you need the atv320 dtm from se.com

Hi, we are using an ATV930 Drive with Quantum 140 534 14. We are facing some difficulties to set eup the communcation with the ATV. We already find out witch register we need to set up to read out the values we need (412742), and we have 9 parameters we read out, Lengtt is set to 10.It seems to work. But, to send the Command and the frequency Setpoint (CMD, LFRD, and CMI) and we are pointing to register 412742, length is set to 4. Unfortunately, the ATV doesn't recieve the Data, and in the IO-Scanner of the Concept V2.5 we are using, the line is "red".. What should we do ? Thanks !
