Great video, I just ordered the titan atv spreader to hopefully work on my Wright stander mower. I already have a 2” reciever off the front that I mount a sprayer to. Hopefully the spreader setup will be similar. The shield you made will definitely be an addition to my build.

@@Gchupp I took 1/2 of a harbor freight hitch carrier to hold the spreader on the front of my stander. It worked pretty good. I think (as others stated) the motor spins a little to fast. So I ordered a switch off eBay that can adjust the speed. I haven’t had a chance to install or use the spreader since then. I sold a few rentals and a lake property so I’m only really cutting/fertilizing my house now.

Love what you did. I would like to ask about the agitator you added. Does it add too much drag to the motor when you have a full load of lime or granular fert in it? Thanks for the video!

It does not appear too, but kind of hard to measure. I have loaded it with 100 #'s of lime and there is no difference to me. As the clevis pin is only 1/8" dia and about 1 1/2" long I would think it doesn't add too much drag. Up to you whether you add it or not.

I have a sprayer mounted to the back....I have a polaris 600. Do you think this unit could be mounted and used on the front instead of the rear?

I can put mine on my Polaris 450 HO on either front or back by the way I modified it with the boards. Should work for yours also

One more upgrade I recently did. On the plastic shield I added, I originally used duct tape to hold it on. However, that only lasts so long. So I removed the duct tape and installed 2 - 3" long hinges ( about an inch wide ) between the shield and the hopper, using small machine bolts with nuts and lock washers. Works great. thanks for watching
