Casey: Come on, Dad. You never believed I was telling you the truth. Tom: Well, sadly I guess I was right. Tom isn't taking pleasure that he was right because he wanted to be wrong but everything Casey told him just didn't add up logically. Tom is saddened that his suspicions about Casey lying were correct and Margo feels like an idiot for believing him. She's a detective so she should be able to tell when a person's lying, she probably a feeling deep down that he was but didn't want to believe it because Casey's her son.

Paul said that his only concern was Jennifer. Oh, so if Craig went after Gwen for the baby, he wouldn't care as long as he didn't go after Jennifer? That is so cold. Besides, suppose Craig went after Gwen for the baby, did it ever occur to Paul that everyone including Jennifer would wonder why Craig would want Gwen's baby so badly? It would've confirmed Jennifer's suspicions that that is her baby. Jennifer would've found out the truth, eventually anyway. Paul was only delaying it. It was a no win situation.

Paul was sick like James and Craig. If Jennifer had agreed to joint custody, then Craig wouldn't have done what he did. Jennifer was playing victim way too much and being to controlling with the baby to begin with.
