The end of the greatest decade ever. Makes me sad as I recall I knew things were never going to be as good.

@@der22672 I said the 80's were the greatest decade lol. The 90's sucked big time for me personally and professionally.

The 80s were the heyday of all the soaps to me the 1970s through the 1990s were good the 90s were OK but to me the minute the year 2000s came the daytime genre started to fall apart especially in the year 2022 it all went south BTW the early to mid 2000s the soap opera genre has never recovered yeah people still watch only because they don't want to see the genre completely gone but those 4 shows that are left can't save the genre or the inevitable they aren't just as well written as they used to be they just don't have the big big huge numbers that they used to have they all are stuck somewhere BTW the 1 point rating and the 2 point rating even a low 3 point number all the other soaps that had those numbers were all canceled with those numbers heck one soap was even canceled with a 6 point rating which is waaaaaay better than what those barely watchable 4 remaining shows have even the once mighty young and the restless doesn't even have a 6 point rating like the former soap opera somerset ( the first spinoff of the great another World) which aired in the 70s had if you ask me a 6 point rating is waaaaay better then what those barley watchable 4 shows have today but I guess a 6 point rating isn't good enough for any of these networks IMO

I thought it would be kind of neat if Greg Beecroft and Ellen Dolen would have had at least one scene together, to pay homage to their Guiding Light characters, brother and sister, Tony and Maureen Reardon. I can't recall that ever happened since he wasn't on very long.

The young actress talking 2 lucinda. In the 28 minute mark appeared in the film lean on me. With Morgan freeman who played Roy on another world. .capt. delany. The actor who played him on another world who also did guiding light. Also did lean on me along with Harriet Shannon's. Friend on as the world turns who also played Rachel's friend lorretta. On another world also appeared in the film obviously the film makers of that film are daytime fans it's no coincidence

This lily the actress appeared in the basket case horror films as well as the Swiss family Robinson movies . I hope that I pronounce the latter correctly but I believe it's called Swiss family Robinson. As the world turns was her last role not sure what she is doing now.

This Lily came on SO STRONG it was jarring. I thought she eventually grew into the part all right and was at times really good, but so different from Martha Byrne. She (Heather Rattray) had been a successful child actress and was talented, but maybe not the right Lily. (I disliked the last Lily more, though!)
