Any time Larry Bryggman, aka;. Doctor John Dixon walked into a scene it was over. He ate up the scenery! My mom and I use to love to watch him back in the early 80’s on ATWT.

I missed this one. The very first ATWT's episode I watched: John is supposedly blind and James is about to kill John with a sword. The Tables Turn and John has James at gunpoint. The dialogue in that scene was captivating and I was pulled into ATWT's.

Wow - what a decade the 1980's was for ATWT's characters returning from the dead! First, Joyce Colman Hughes (the only woman to do so), then Dr. John Dixon here and then James Stenbeck who must of done so about 20 times from now until the end of the show's run. (Anthony Herrera was starring on Loving during some of the times his James Stenbeck character was supposed to be dead on ATWT).

Good storyline but that YELLING is TOO MUCH. I used to watch ATWT back in those days. I enjoyed the Stewart family - Ellen, John, Dee as well as other characters such as Ariel and Karen Haines (dixon).

none of that would be allowed in an actual trial. he was badgering the witness. i don't even know where to begin with the rest of the inaccuracies, but i know it isn't like that in a real courtroom.

Yeah, where is he? He hasn't been seen since 2004. It's like he vanished off the face of the Earth. You'd think he'd have been around with all the problems Tom and Margo were having with Casey, since he's Casey's maternal grandfather.

This trial was horrible! The judge should have cleared the courtroom. Too melodramatic! ATWT was the best SOAP but this was one of its low points. ATWT and its history, at least in its first 20 years was famous for its slow moving, character driven stories. Not plot.
