That's my idea but if it were done it would need to be completely remixed and reset to like like how Doug Marland would want it to look today but so much talent came through they just unfortunately begining around 1997 had a lot of casting talent in the wrong roles. I suggest you go look at Doug Marland era atwt which was from November of 1985 to match of 1993. Such memories and yes Doug Marland made some duds begining around late 1990 which continued to mid 1992. So here is an example of I were to reset it Austin peck would play Chris Hughes married to Katie as played by Terri conn. Because that's what doug Marland would do to bring back those dynamics Luke would not even be gay but married to Talia with kids some college age. But then to honor the original which Doug Marland wrote which was hank Elliot. I would branch out through one of Luke and Talias kids introducing a new boyfriend or girlfriend but they are keeping a secret the person who they thought was their father is transgender. And transitioned causing a riff in the family write the crap out of it for 6 months but ultimately the transgender former male dies from a hate crime play all the emotions and conflict and do the classic Doug Marland show trial. And that's one of many ideas and ulterations I would do but to understand my ideas you would have to go back and look at Doug Marland era atwt like hank Elliot Paul shouting his dad James in 1989. The Casey perreti storyline that played out for 6 months before Margo pulled the plug on his resperator who was Katie's dad. And fir whom Casey Hughes was named for. Ohh and Adam Hughes Munson was born before katie was in 1988 so how could Katie be older than Adam sudenly in 2008 made no sense. Remember history is power.
