The show is so unfocused that not even the great Elizabeth Hubbard and Scott Bryce could rescue this. At their best, you could always count a potboiler of a scene between Craig and Lucinda but their scenes here fell flat. It's not them, the show was just in a really bad place at this time. So much wasted talent.

Yes, the character of Craig was already completely destroyed by that time. Bryce is a great actor, but he's not a miracle worker.

The last five years of ATWT were pretty awful. But at least we got to see the familiar faces we spent so many years watching. I'd give anything to have that back.

Exactly like writing Craig like tonio Reyes and wait a. Minute didn't tonio Reyes have a ralationship with Meg years earlier when the real Meg was played by jenifer ashe so why the hell would Craig get involved with Meg or Rosanna I can picture if Doug Marland had been alive screaming from the rooftops no no no even to hogan sheffer and Chris goutman and pointing them to the whole story in the history of the show not just cliff notes like what Chris goutman was doing for years with Roger as Paul and exaggerating things Andy played briefly. Because I have seen those episodes and scenes Andy played. And a lot of that was from 1991 and maybe a scene or 2 from 1989 and if I remember corectly Craig was a mentor to Paul Ryan when Douglas wrote the show. Lesson here is you can't cliff note Doug Marland and by the way I think the ruining of the show happened with Felicia minie behr in 1997. And yes maybe it was a dark period right after Doug Marland died but by mid 1996 into early 1997 the show was really almost completely back to how douglas would have wanted it to look and pretty much like it was when he headwrote it. @@kellywittmann1893
