ATWT 40 Years of Lisa and Bob (2000) Pt.1

A big thank you for all of these posts. The older ASWT series were very well written and acted. I too have watched as the world turns since the 60s, when the original cast members roles diminished, I was very unhappy. Emily is not Lisa (smile). Lisa in her day were the queen of day soaps. Remember, the show Search For Tomorrow?

Bob and Lisa have a lot of history on ATWT. Tom is their son and I think they have other children together too. However, Bob has always loved Kim more than Lisa. But they both have been on ATWT since 1960, there are 2 actors well dedicated to their work!

Bob and Lisa-47 years, Nancy-51 years, Kim-35 years. You would think they could include them in more episodes. I'm sure there are plenty of fans that have watched since day 1. Not everyone is looking for youngsters. There is enough history and footage from years ago to keep old and new viewers connected.

Actually Tom is their only child together, but they definitely had more kids with other people.

No, Tom is their only child together.. Lisa had Chuckie by Michael Shea, but he died in a car accident as a youth. And Scott by John Eldridge. Bob had Frannie by Jennifer, and Sabrina and Christopher by Kim.

Looking back you know who got robbed of a Tribute. Jerry Ver Dorn (Ex-Ross Marler) Guiding Light. He played Ross for Twenty Five Years. They could have done a Storyline in which he could have gotten an Honorary Degree from Springfield University and he thinks of all of the Court Cases, Marriages, and The Women he loved not to mention HIs Election Night.

He got robbed of a job entirely when GL killed Ross! I wouldn't have expected a tribute from the show that thought Michael Zaslow was replaceable.
