ATWT CarJack: 3/30/2004 - I need you here so I can touch you... and hold you

So we begin with Jack coming home from the station for lunch. Carly greats him warmly and asks why he didn't wake her when he got home from New York. He tells her that he tried but that she told him to go away. Carly laughs and says she doesn't remember that. She starts asking him how it went and if he found out anything about Rosanna's disappearance. Jack says they found DeGrassi but that he has a question of his own and asks where she was when he called. Carly tries to dodge the question and answer without really answering. She decides to tell the truth and admits to being with Paul in St. Barts. Jack gets upset and tells her that her investigation days are over. Meanwhile over at the Lakeview we see Rosanna - fine and unharmed - in a suite talking on the phone with the front desk. She asks to be informed to when Jordan Sinclair heads up to his room and asks for discretion... Downstairs, Paul happens upon Jennifer and Jordan discussing Rosanna and finds out that she's staying in a room upstairs as they speak. Paul is confused but goes up to see her. In Milltown... Carly explains to Jack that the reason she left with Paul is that she couldn't just stand around and do nothing when her sister was in trouble. She says she's afraid of loosing her and seeing what Lily went through a few months ago when she lost Rose, she doesn't want to go through that. Jack tells her that he understands the fear of loosing someone. He says that he needs her here with him so that he can touch her and hold her, as he pulls her into his arms. He makes her promise to leave the search up to him and she agrees. At the Lakeview... Paul knocks the door of Rosanna's suite and it's obvious she isn't happy to see him. She's distant and claims she has a cold. Paul makes his way into the room and it eventually comes out that she's very upset with him. Back in Milltown, Jack and Carly are cuddling on the couch. Jack says he needs to eat lunch though makes no attempt to get up. Carly jokes that they can wait on the couch in each other's arms until Sage is old enough to help them out. It's then that Carly suddenly remembers something about her trip to St. Barts. She tells Jack that they found an envelope with DeGrasi's name and phone number written in Rosanna's hand. Jack decides to head to the station without lunch and try and get to the bottom of the mystery. Back in Rosanna's room, it comes out that she's discovered that Paul was the one who informed the Canadian authorities about Cabot's illegal adoption. In his need to get back at Craig for trying to frame him for Rose's murder he didn't stop to think about what he was actually doing and all the hurt he would end up causing. She yells at him that she was the one person during all of that that actually stuck up for and defended him and reminded him that she even posted his bail. Paul tries to rationalize that the truth would have come out eventually but Rosanna doesn't want to hear it. Paul asks for forgiveness but she says she's done forgiving people and she's done with him.
