Atypical - Kitesurfing Brazil

It's always that same feeling when that specific forecast for your homespot shows up. For the next week, expectations grow, refreshing the browser, checking 2 or 3 forecast platforms twice a day and hoping it holds true.
This time was different, it was the first week of February, in the middle of summertime here in Brazil, which makes it hard to believe a swell this big is really going to pop up.
During the next couple of days, the forecast just kept getting better, the wind stronger, long wave periods, so I we booked the tickets and didn’t waste anytime. Seb was en route from Rio de Janeiro to Floripa with one this one his mind. The Atypical summer swell and what it would produce. Well here it is, enjoy “Aytipical!”

@@davidsoria3983 Rio has nice spots too for KiteWave, specially cities Cabo Frio and Buzios, while in south you have Campeche where this vid was filmed, and Ibiraquera which is a fantastic left with side off wind that people compare to Pacasmayo (never been to Pacasmayo to confirm that), and in the northeast, Ceara has Taiba and Paracuru as the best wave spots, with wind more consistent than in Rio or South of Brazil. Hope that helps for your future kite adventures in Brazil ;)
