AU FALCON DOING INCREDIBLE THINGS!!!

You either love them or hate them, and beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder but there's no doubt the AU Falcon can do incredible things. Probably because they're cheap and no one cares if they end up at the Tip. Voted as the Worst Falcon ever built by Motoring Magazine there's certainly a cult following for the abomination that is the AU Falcon.

Yep my AUII XR8 Ute has 345,000KM on it and doesn’t use a drop of oil, still looks like honey after 5000km no rust, good paint job at 18yrs old stock bar full exhaust and hits the redline on a near daily basis.. Sadly can’t say the same for my BA XR8 which had 2 x engine rebuilds under 60,000km.. FG XR8 engine and gearbox problems under 110,000km... BF XR6 Turbo torque converter problems at 33,000km... its 2019 I’ve sold the others and just keep driving the auii as my daily until it dies - if that ever happens.. it also sounds far better than the quad cams with pacemakers and hiflo cats

I mean they aint pretty but they are plentiful and the 4L can take a hammering stock plus you can fit a car load of mates in them and spend all day blowing sets of tires off. Great entry level skidder right.

Au falcon underrated car, I have a 5.0ltr Windsor ute, comfortable, realible work horse, with nice balance in the steering, they have good turn in au's, this guy showed it, with nice slides , perfect speeds and good car control. That 6 has plenty of reliable punch by the sound

Funny it was the AU because it was the End of ford Australia. The EL smashed the Commodore in sales. The AU was a coffin blow that even the BA couldnt recover from.
