Thank you for the great review. I was looking in to an LVLP gun due to power problems here in South Africa and not being able to use a large compressor always. I order myself 898-2 today hopefully I get it by the weekend. Keep up the great work

i have the auarita 898-2 my Compresor silencioso 3 HP 80 litros con 68 dB PRO80SILENT CEVIK seems to struggle to hold 20psi as the pressure in tank lowers before the motor kicks in again

Hi Italco. I have a Auarita 898 spray gun but i cant take out the plastic air distribution ring for clean it. There is a special trick?. I dont want to broke it. Thanks and excuses.

Really awsome video. I am having a hard time to find the 898-2 model with retailers. Can you tell if model L 898 is different than the 898-2? Is it just a size matter? Tks for your reply. Cheers.

898-2 is a newer updated version of 898. Auarita replied to my email and said the Intertool LVLP on amazon is theirs just rebranded.

You use it wrong, for basecoat is hvlp, and for clear coat is lvmpx :)

Super excellent video. I´m convinced that the 898-2 would be a good all around gun for DYI and woodworking coatings. The LVLP makes sense in that I do have a 120 VAC, 35 gallon Dewalt DXCM251 that supplies 7.7scfm at 40 psi, 6.2scfm at 90psi. Auarita´s spec says the requirements are 9 - 11 scfm. Other suppliers on eBay etc are indicating 4 - 6. So needless to say I´m concerned and confused. Will this compressor be sufficient to use this gun?

No where auarita mentioned scfm. It says cfm, means fad cfm

I used aurita spray gun for the clear coat but I got a lot of Orange peel I was around 22 PSI, what do you think the problem is ?

i think that recomended pressure for clear coat is 2,5 bar at least 44 psi

22 psi is the max pressure for 898 you need 17 or 19psi
