My mother, when battling cancer, repeatedly told me she could call in the birds. One day, being a "I'll believe it when I see it person" I asked her to show me. We walked outside of her apartment and she statred waving her arms. Next thing I see, about 40 seagulls (mind you she lived in the center or Portland, OR nowhere near the ocean) starting circling her roof. They all landed and she spoke with them. After a few minutes, and a bit of shock, she waved her arms and they all flew away. It was magical!

I studied martial arts when I was younger and we were doing a training camp at the studio where our grandmaster lived. My group was under a tree and we started seeing bees buzzing around the tree. A few became a lot and we scattered. They were forming like a living hive in one of the lower branches, so there were thousands of them. Da Shifu comes strolling up (mind you he was in his 80's) to the perimeter where everyone was gathering and the air around the tree was just THICK with bees. So he just marches out in his safari hat and senior citizen sunglasses over to the tree and just stares up at the hive with his hands on his elbows. I swear on the universe less than five minutes later they were completely gone. Like not a single bee in sight. One of his grandsons was prepping for his black belt at the same time I was (this was a couple years later) and told me and our studio's owner that one time he was at a diner with Da Shifu and he said to Mike "you want to see something?" and put his hand a few inches over his coffee cup and made a few circular motions, and when he took his hand away the coffee was swirling like it had just gotten stirred. So yeah, I believe.

Being at the customer end of "sales magic" isn't fun. I was coerced into signing papers to make changes to my house once, even though I had clearly stated that I was not ready to commit to anything yet. I felt hypnotised and signed papers, and my mom who sat beside me said nothing. I asked her why she hadn't stopped me as we had agreed beforehand not to sign anything. Working a job, unhappy with it for 16 years... Means this man has someone in his life whose happiness and security is far more important to him than his own comfort. Been there. Done that. I'm a fool for it. This is the sacrifice so many men make for their loved ones. Sadly, this is also often the time when the wife leaves him. As soon as the kids are pretty much rsised. This is off topic, but it reminds me of a couple of young brothers i met in South Dakota, years sgo. 17 and 21 years old. The younger one was going to visit their grandfather. The older one wasn't, and they argued some over it. The older one had hate in his heart. I found out later, the reason why. Their grandfather was in prison for murdering their grandmother. He worked his whole life driving truck over the road, meaning he would often be gone from home driving cross country. Always away from his loved ones. But making sure they had the money to live a comfortable life. On the day he retired, he came home to find a note on the table. It was from his wife. She was leaving him. She wanted a divorce. He went to where she worked, and waited for her shift to end. When she came out of the building, he walked up to her, and without a word, shot her in the head, then the heart. He then sat down and waited for the cops to come. He's the one who called them. Right before he did it. Some will understand his position, like his youngest grandson, Some will not, like his older grandson. There are most likely aspects to their lives, we are not aware of. Infidelity? Most likely. People get lonely. They have physical and emotional needs. Some people use other people just for their own selfish comfort, with no intention of giving back. Some people are abusive. There are many forms of it, and they arent always physical. Its not always the the man who is the abuser. I can understand the mans anger, but i disagree with his actions. His solution damaged many lives, for many years to come. But i suppose he wasn't thinking about any kind of future through the cloud of anger. Sorry for wandering off topic. The main comment reminded me of it, and i wanted to tell the tale.

I had an incredible experience whilst doing Transendental Meditation over 35 years ago. I had been writing a letter when I got an urge to meditate so I closed my eyes, still holding the pen...I started getting pins and needles in my fingers where I held the pen..then suddenly, my fingers went through the pen and I just split into zillions of atoms, nothing was solid...the table, house, me, everything was its' tiniest form, everything was the same...I was part of everything, the smallest but at the same time, infinite expansiveness...oh my! I used to make pies for a farm stand. I would think good thoughts while I was baking like imagining people taking a bite and saying how delicious it was. I got these extraordinary responses from people saying it was “the best” pie they ever had in their life and people were literally begging for more pies. One day I was not in a good mood and I was resentful that I had to make pies. For the first time I left out my magickal ingredient of positive thoughts. I manifested magic when I took action because I was so afraid that my daughter's plane would crash land due to gale force winds which had been howling all night and all morning. I had previously bought a Shaman drum which I wasn't sure how to use but fear for my beloved daughter galvanised me into action. I started drumming in an intensely focussed way informing the wind that "I am God, not you! You will cease to blow right now. RIGHT NOW!!! and you will NOT blow for the rest of this day!" Yes telepathic communication is real. Years ago I was sitting in Panera Bread in Waldorf, Maryland and spontaneously I experimented with telepathic communication my soul nudged me. So an acquaintance was sitting 75 feet away from me, I did not talk directly to him that day. I just thought no more fighting if you here me nod your head up and down, immediately it was like a lazer beam shot out of my forehead and it only happened like that once his head went up and down several times. All 8 billion human beings are communicating simultaneously. I am not special. I listen to the silence or the space between the world if talking with someone. It happens everyday for me. During Lucid dreaming or just ordinary dreaming if you notice when you hear a message no ones lips are moving. Mostly because you are basically communicating with YOURSELF.

I believe your experience. Something similar has happened to me before. One time, I was on a city bus during rush hour and seated high up from the cars on the road. I looked down at the top of the car beside us and could only see the passenger seat and a hand on the stick shift. I couldn't see the driver's side at all. I thought to myself "I wonder who that person is and where they're headed?". Suddenly, the person shifted their car into park, leaned all the way over to the passenger side window, tilted their neck upwards and looked directly at me smiling. It freaked me out so much that I turned away quickly. It was like they heard my thought and was going to answer but I turned away. When I looked back down at their car, they were moving back into the driver's seat. It seemed so crazy. I find it mostly happens after a long day at work and when my brain is relaxing and winding down. If I try too hard to make it happen, it doesn't.

I can read minds, but I think how it works is that I perceive or read vibratory impressions your thought makes on the ether, works like drawing symbols on a surface, you leave similar symbols with your mind on the ether, and others who have built their receiver can read it, before I would assume these thoughts and impressions were mine, but I figured there was no way I could be having these many switches in thoughts and feelings, even when there's no prior experience in memory to back them up, I started to study the causality and realized some thoughts repeated around other people, then once I found the inner calibrator of this receiver, I could do it anywhere, and it got more accurate over time.

My aunt, 25% Native American, always wore a long necklace of tapered sterling silver beads given to her by one of her daughters whose father was 100% native. I would recommend a study done on a childhood game I came across growing up. I know the religious intolerance to the game made it more interesting for kids to try. It was called light as a feather, stiff as a board. I have no idea where it originated. Kids line up all around one subject lying on their back. Everyone uses only two fingers underneath the subject repeating the name of the game and lifting the body of the subject together. Everyone removes their support and the subject levitates. Or in some cases kids are holding up a subject with two fingers as everyone else pulled away already.

When I was 7 years old I moved objects, when I was a teenager I read thoughts etc, now I only have intuition. But there are some phenomena that I can explain with the sacred secretion, I discovered this theme to understand what was happening to me. Yes powers are very real. For example, when I'm happy regardless of the season or the weather, the sun appears and shines on me. It's beautiful and it's true. I have experienced three times where I slowed down time. Twice was to avoid 2 accidents and once to keep myself from being hurt by falling out of the back of a truck trailer. Aubrey I was raised on an isolated farm in the wilderness with the indigenous San in South Africa. As such I do see nature as sentient and my experience is that you can interact with, for example, any one of the elements. I had similar experiences with the wind as did your sister. One example: one day I was walking in a beautiful park in Cape Town with my dog. It was a perfect windstill day. I was sitting under a tree in a meditative state repeating ancient names of the wind calling it forth. Suddenly I heard a rush of air and all the trees were moving as if a storm wind went through the park. I moved out of the meditative hyper aware state and suddenly it stopped. I have had many such experiences throughout my life. In each case there is definitely a sense of deep merging with nature.

I was brought here because of a comment on a short, that introduced me to both Dr Dean Radin and problascism. His study of conciousness affecting matter was absolutely amazing. Watching his lecture, all of a sudden everything fell into place. Since researching conciousness I became disappointed with main stream science, it fails to describe my experience of the world and universe. Pansychism I always felt was the strongest argument for conciousness. I think we need a shift from materialism to idealism. I am reminded of nicola tesla who once said- " The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.” I agree, and coming from nicola tesla, who is fundemental in creating the society we live in today. I don't know if anyone will read this or care but I thought I'd share this anyways, even though I know I sound like a lunatic. I had this trip where I "died" but it was actually falling into myself. I was every form in existence, and in me was also the representation of form creating without guidance (aka Ego manifesting negativity through the mind) When I woke up I was where I "died" but I was incredibly present, insanely sensual and sense orientated and I was the feminine part of the sentient structure of the universe in the form of man, woman and spirit. Or more specifically nervous system, brain and "God" which channelled creativity/manifestation through the brain aka man. I was Eve in the garden that wanted "free will" but with it came doubt, fear and entrapment in form and with it, the near destruction of all life on the planet. I couldn't see past my mind-made self and kept falling into fear again, I failed to surrender myself to the experience and woke up again back here in the dream of form and time again. I also had the images and memories/visions of this happening so many times before with the other part of myself/consciousness trying to reach me, my own soul mate that is Life and the present moment and my own inner depth. Anyways, I'm still working on my own dissolution of self, but it's hard when we're so hard conditioned by society to be of the mind and of form and to with the mental disease of psychological time.

When he brought up the placebo effect like. Its just simple things that can completely shatter materialism. This strong bizarre belief in nothingness and nihilism that is going on in the Western scientific community is like some kind of religious belief in itself. In the sense of ignoring everything around you because it doesn't fit your narrative. I had a series of psychic dreams about major life events. This came at a point in my life where I was completely falling out with the religous beliefs I was being raised in. Theres no other way to describe what happened other than my consciousness somehow moving through time to see the future. And it came at a time when I needed it the most because I did not want to fall into nihilism and my soul deeply needed proof that there was more. When I had those experiences those dreams. Before they even came to pass I felt their importance and I told ppl around me about them. And I'm glad I did that because when they did come to pass so many witnessed the supernatural experience behind it. I was gobsmacked and instantly began to feel an incredibly sadness this was one of the most profound experiences of my life... I had only ever met the man a few times and never really seen him or his family in my day to day life or on social media as I only use this, there had been no mention from anyone or way of me knowing about his predicament in the weeks prior. I now have an ability to see this enegry/static/hazey snow all around me... while staring at anything I can make it I appear in my vision, depending on my conscious vibration at the time, I've been able to form whole living scenes from this energy/static/hazey snow, they aren't super clear, but during another couple of sessions, I was staying at a b and b at the time and the owners son also lived there, I didn’t talk to him as I didn't really like his character, anyway I was seeing a motorbike, very clearly and being told stop looking it's a secret, twice this happened, then a few days later his friend pulled up with two motorbikes in his van to drop off at the b and b...... after much thought and some research, I can only conclude that our minds are like radios and have the ability to tune into different frequencies, that allow us to effectively experience different inputs into our senses/brains. I was a hard-core atheist before this.... now I have a new found sense of.... enlightenment amazement, fascination and desire to discover the world to which is there but we cannot see or experience, not in our normal state anyway. The easiest way to practice “telepathy” with another individual is with three colored markers and a stack of paper. While drawing a shape with a specific color, you perpetually speak it aloud to your subconscious mind and try to communicate with your own mind, to the other subject’s subconscious mind. For example: I am drawing a blue triangle, and I am using only my mind to convey this to the other individual. Then you have them guess what color and shape, after a little bit of time. I know this seems odd, but it works. You can especially develop your telepathy abilities with someone you know very well, or love, more easily than with a stranger.

I recently started an apprenticeship in Incan Shamanism. First I did an illumination ceremony. I was completely sober but it was still a psychedelic experience. I have always seen and experienced things like it but never under a controlled setting like that. It was very powerful. I saw what I was supposed to see during the ceremony without my shaman telling me anything beforehand or during the experience. Which is probably the way it was supposed to be. Afterward, he told me that there are two ways that initiates are buried alive and reborn in his tradition. One of those ways happened to me very distinctly during the illumination. The craziest part about it is that I don't think he was even intending to initiate me. It was supposed to be more like a cleansing and "resetting" sort of thing. He asked me to describe what I was seeing while it was happening. The only inputs that he made were to tell me to focus on two colors that I was seeing more than all the others. He did not know that I was seeing those colors. His "guys" told him which colors they were and then he told me the two colors specifically and to focus on them. There were several layers to the experience that felt like specific aspects of different dimensions. He told me that each one of those visions within those layers was my power and that I needed to think/reflect about them everyday. And then he asked me to be his apprentice. I really hope that I can do well. I get the impression that he expects me to be able to do really well. He keeps talking about how his few best apprentices are all women. And that they are all very gifted like me. I am a man though. He says that he stops apprentices from going past early levels of training all the time because their body, mind, and/or spirit just aren't present. He insinuates that they are usually males but then tells me that I am doing very well. I just completed the first level of training. It's one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Every day that I do morning ceremony has a tremendous impact on my well-being and connectedness that I've rarely experienced for any other reason.

The reason why some of this sounds vague and why I did not elaborate on specifics like what my visions were or what were the two colors I saw during the ceremony is because that is all meant for me and me alone. My teacher told me right after it happened that he had to deliberately forget what I had told him because it is that sacred and specific to me. If the wrong person knew what my power is they can use it against me. And I believe this. Because that was part of my struggle before I had ever met my teacher and why I needed to do an illumination in the first place.

From 20-years continuous living (mostly alone) in the remote high Himalayas on the borders of Tibet, in forested/jungle locations researching ESP with Nature (the field), it's clear that all of what you are talking about really means how much we can merge with the field in an non-grasping innocent/un-contrived way. We talk about 'the observer' affect but there is a unified observer (as a whole) which is Nature. Nature's awareness is far greater than ours - because it is whole - and it knows when we are playing games for personal gain in whatever way. I'm talking about Nature down to the level of particle/waves. It's such a shame that we have lost purity of heart in our endeavors being the number one factor that needs to be cultivated and that from this everything follows. Once, a magical way as the norm.

This interview is so exciting for me ! I have been following IONS I’ve participated in some of the online games to test psychic abilities. I have always been open and have had several instances of telepathy and clairvoyance. I recently started working on tapping into this more as I’ve gotten older I feel like I’ve lost touch with my intuition. But one of the things I have always believed is flying Is possible. Recently someone used this as an example to explain “unknown” the unknowable, the feeling of flying is unknown - if you can’t do it, you can’t experience it. Well i can tell you very vividly what it’s like- i had several extremely vivid real dreams of flying- one such involving myself levitating in lotus position (before I even really knew what that was) and jumping up into full flight. Your discussion here today is the first I’ve heard of st joseph and “hopping “ yogi’s. I had these dreams years ago. But I was able to feel and remember even after waking and still now what it is like to be weightless. It’s amazing and I always believed that it’s possible.

It’s always been the norm for me as well because I was born with certain capabilities. My grandmother was the only person I could really talk to about them. As I got older she would always say it’s in your blood, and tell me I took after her great grandmother, who was actually considered to be a witch. I do not practice any kind of magic but, I never could buy into religion because I knew better. I can pretty much remember this entire life of mines as well, at least back to being in my crib still. It’s crazy to me how some people can’t remember anything before being like 8-10. I started astral projecting around that age and through that I gained much understanding of this world, and fact is stranger than fiction.

As a kid I would take a water bottle or drink I had and intend it was a potion that would have such and such effect. I would even imprint some color to it to intensify it. It would always have the exact effect I intended and I KNEW that it would as though it was natural. I was in kung fu when I was 5 and learned of chi and discovered I could move energy through my body and learned of my xifu's (shifu's) ability to use this energy to do magical things. I had some awareness that things people were not too close to or paying attention to would be easier to shape or to change, so I thought "what if I changed the speed and direction of the wind over the mountains in the distance" I figured people weren't focusing in that space too much. It felt like moving fluid down the slope of the mountain, and I felt like I was moving the loose energy between energy crystalized by the perspective of others, like water through chunks of ice. I intended it to rush towards the house and a few seconds later a massive gust of wind blew through, but I kept trying to see if it was real what I was doing, and every time it happened. Then later I used the same thing to direct wind to split clouds or to redirect the wind during a cold or wet day. In a bigger case I was on a school trip in the mountains, and a presentation was being given to us while dark clouds started moving ahead, it started to sprinkle as a precursor to rain and I wanted to let these people give their presentation. I looked up at the storm front that had gone overhead and commanded the wind to rush from inside the valley and above the clouds to move and split the clouds over where we were. And I added to the spirit of the mountain and sky a request to wait for about an hour until they were done. In a minute the cloudy sky opened back up directly above the area that we were. The hole in the clouds remained and all other rushing clouds moved around the open space until they were finished. The moment the presentation ended the rain started up again and it began to pour like it was going to about an hour earlier. Magic is real you just need to get your mind out of the way, and really connect to the experiential feeling nature to access it. Every atom and electron in an eye, an ear, a nose a mouth and skin, your body is made of them. The deeper you connect with the body and learn to trust in it the more you will be able to sense through the deeper and subtler parts of your body and the river of energy that flows through our dimension. It flows in and out of our dimension like threads of a loom and connects to all times spaces and dimensions. Flow the threads to their source and you will know the love of God as the power flowing through you as the heart of every atom of your body and the world around you.

I have a friend who is an ecologist and has been to university and has qualified. Her scientific conditioning blocks her ability to assess the subjects talked about here as being possible, yet she has been rewarded for thinking in such a contained manner. The reason that people generally don't think levitation is possible is due to the frequency of their consciousness and the need to prove everything for it to be valid. If it cannot be proven, it cannot exist, seems to be the approach that a great many "intelligent" types currently have. Fortunately, science is catching up through such fields as quantum physics, so there is a "turning" of views, but it has taken a long time.

Wow, I didn’t know people are still reading The Spiral Dance. In the early 90s I visited a friend in San Francisco, and he knew someone who attended gatherings of Starhawk-led folks. I grew up in a household where my ancestors (my great grandmother but there were several energy workers who learned from their parents and grandparents) "chased" pain and fear (evil eye) away with a ritualistic type of prayer. It came with a number of caveats. I have witnessed miracles since childhood... to the point of complete acceptance. Reading The Wizard of Earthsea seemed more like philosophy than science fiction. Sheldrake's thoughts on the morphogenetic field offer the best explain the best explanation of what I have witnessed or at the least the way I see it. I do this thing with Tibetan healing bowls and water. It would be awesome to do a retreat here in Nepal, where I live. A person could find a lot of magic here. We even have a headless horsewoman that comes out some years on a certain day. We have some ancient brick-lined ponds called pokharis. They tend to get polluted and it would be interesting to bang the bowls with a little of the water while going around it during a full moon and then pour it into the pond in a group effort to heal it. I've heard of people having good success with things like this. Water is very powerful. Nepal is very spiritual and a great budget destination. It's great for manifesting.

This is gonna seem off topic, but hear me out. My dad was in the infantry in the army. They had to learn a little bit about foraging (I'm now an accomplished forager) and I remember when I was young him saying something to the effect that mushrooms had no food value therefor weren't worth the time to pick. I of course now know that's false, but my take is that mushrooms can be so dangerous that they tell the guys that because the downside just isn't worth the risk. Maybe the church etc know there's a big downside to delving into the "mystical world" that they lie to us to keep us plebes away from it. Just my thought.

The example with the restaurant is great. I have observed something similar... whenever I offer my daughter some clothes (and I observed this very thoroughly and continuously throughout her first 7 years until today), I know that she always decides differently depending on my intention. It is as though she is not seeing the material stuff at all. It is like she is only seeing the meaning of that material. Sometimes stuff causes a negativ reaction because there is an intention connected to it that she does not accept (e.g.: "take these trousers because I want you to look nice!"). She would always know my intention. Even before she could speak or think. So when I offer her something with a positive intention ("take the trousers because I want you to feel warm and cosy", then she would accept. I have always cherished every single moment with this little girl because her life is (was until now?) full of real magic indeed. I could go on... nobody talks about those things...

I was a part of and witness to building a rainbow out of the clear blue sky with about 3000 people at a drum festival in Amherst Mass. There was a Lakota shaman teaching the crowd different elements throughout the day. First he taught us of an ancient drum rhythm that dates back to the Egyptians. Next he taught us of the power of ohm. And then explained of the mysticism and energy that belly dancers would bring in. And then he said let's combine them and three thousand people began the drum rhythm and the low deep role of the ohm filled the air as the belly dancers swayed. The shaman said did not explain what would happen or that anything would happen but one by one the ohms were replaced with a gasps and a pointing finger to the sky as people said "look, look!!" And a rainbow I began to form from opposite sides of the sky. Each end grew towards the other attempting to meet in the middle and form one huge rainbow. But as more and more of the crowd noticed the omhs began to hush and as the drumming faded out slowly so did the rainbow. And everybody just sat there quietly stunned for a moment and then Lakota shaman said "that's just the way it really is.."

When I was 9 yrs old I fell on ice breaking my front teeth. I needed root canals to save them and it required 5 or 6 office visits. My dentist would ask when using this numbing compound before the shot, which flavor would you like? Strawberry or Grape and my choice was always Strawberry. After all of the procedures were complete he confessed that the compound he had used had no flavor at all and it was his suggestion and my belief / trust of what he was saying!!!
