Why would he stay? Arnold will be the starter next season, and if he's any good, he'll be the starter in '26. Deuce didn't sign with Auburn to spend his first two years in college watching from the sidelines. That's why we lost Walker. I think CHF has really f'ked up our QB room. His lousy play calling is the main reason for this lousy season. If we had 8 or 9 wins, Walker or Hank would be the starter next season. Now, his future as a coach is on the line. That's why he hired Arnold. He's desperate. I think it's a mess.

He will redshirt, then next year he can compete for the starting job. Even if he doesn’t win it then I still think he stays, he would still have 3 years of eligibility left after Arnold is gone and be the next man up. From the beginning he’s been a project piece. Very talented but very raw. As for Walker white his mom has cancer and he’s looking to be closer to home. Also Walker was only here for one year. They haven’t even had a QB competition yet. If we won 8 games Walker or Brown would be starting? How does that logic work? You take the best guys you can get, period. Brown knew he couldn’t compete so he left. How bout doing some research before talking abunch of nonsense.

Yeah saying if Auburn wins 8 games one of those dudes would be starting makes no sense whatsoever. The room has been elevated to a level it prob hasn't had an equivalent talent wise in Auburn history. When you look back at years we had Cam, Nick Marshall, Bo Nix there was absolutely no one behind them. We thought there was gold in Jeremy Johnson and Auburn was on the way to excellence at that position for back back signal callers but instead they ended up wandering in a wasteland.

I guess ultimately you have to see if they pan out. Joey Gatewood was fairly highly rated too I suppose. But two of these guys have been starters in power 4 competition. Two of them were at one time the top QB recruits in the country coming out of highschool.

Is Jamonta Waller still down there? What position is he playing? I’m really interested in seeing him play. I watched a track guy break down his 40 film. He said that he could probably run closer to a 4.4 guy, with the correct training and not standing up so quickly. I don’t care what positioned lineman comes up in that portal. If he’s a can’t miss talent, Hugh needs to barbecue. He’s doing pretty good transitioning to these attrition challenges so far this year. Kinda like he might be the one on the button or doing a little cleaning house.

Why don’t Auburn fans donate like other schools? Bama fans after this week they’re starting to step up. Everyone complained we didn’t get at least top 3 class while otv has been claiming 3k donors since it’s beginning. Otv needs to get fans involved. Fans join 20 au sites all who say same things and at many times don’t actually give inside info but public that’s already out but fans won’t give even the minimum $18 a month to otv. I seem to be the only one bringing it up. It’s like this, if you’re blowing $20 a month on cigs, dip, alcohol, drinks, ect tighten up $5 a week and give. Fans step up we will not be beat in recruiting especially if au takes the next step. As long as freeze & pearl are running bball & football we will win more recruits than not if everything is equal on nil front. I’m glad we didn’t get offord unless he plays both sides. Wasn’t worth nil $. Over spending on skilled guys are dumb till we build up to oline & dline.
