Auburn Softball - Highlights vs Samford

A trio of Auburn softball (17-11-1) pitchers combined for the fourth perfect game in program history as the Tigers shut out Samford 8-0 in five innings on Wednesday.
Maddie Penta, Shelby Lowe and Annabelle Widra silenced the Bulldog (9-25) offense to record the first combined perfect game in Auburn softball history. The trio recorded 10 strikeouts.
"They hit their spots really nice tonight," said head coach Mickey Dean. "In five innings, we threw like 65 pitches. That's just really effective work. Our defense did well. We scored all eight runs with two outs. That's always a good sign."
