What happened to the full replay of Auburn vs. Oklahoma Game 3? Even the highlights of Game 3 would be nice. But neither one is on YT. How come?

I love how Oklahoma fans got to celebrate a championship the next day and how they went to Auburn the very next year and beat Auburn for another spot in the WCWS.

I didn't know that you can change pitchers in the middle of a batter's turn. It has to be only in softball. In baseball, once you start pitching to a hitter, you have to finish. Oklahoma changed pitchers in the middle of the 2nd inning with Kasey Cooper hitting.

Not true. A pitcher can be changed after they have pitched 1-2-3 or "X" amount of times...the new pitcher comes in, warms up and inherits the count the previous pitcher left with....This rule is NOT JUST SOFTBALL...it is Park ball, Little league baseball, Dizzy Dean, High School Ball, Travel Baseball, College Baseball, minor league baseball and Major League Baseball. Few people truly understand the nuances that are involved with baseball...with every pitch, every batter...positioning of each defensive player, the difference between a Push Bunt, a Drag bunt or a "Kill or Dead" bunt...notice what OK did in the 1st (or 2nd inning) with the squeeze bunts...the batter messed up a little by not getting the ball a little further towards the pitcher but that bunt is intended to basically have the ball hit directly in front of the plate and roll towards the pitcher...a Push bunt is one where the batter is trying to advance a runner but also to get a base hit out of it by bunting the ball with more force between the pitcher, 1st baseman (lady) ...and a drag bunt is usually solely for advancing a runner and sometimes is used as a squeeze play in baseball where the bases are much further and the runner can be off the bag at 3rd when the pitch is made....I played and coached for ~15 yrs and had opposing coaches and parents who hated me...Due to several years having kids that could hit the ball, play defense and pitch...but didn't have any player with power so we played a ton of "small ball"....In fact, we had offensive plays that placed immense pressure on the defense to execute or we could score 2 and sometimes 3 runs if bases loaded without ever hitting the ball out of the infield...and at other times without the batter hitting the ball at all...especially in travel ball...although the parents coaching usually thought they understand the game they didn't know how to coach....so we exploited their lack of preparation...With 13-16yr olds if have a really good pitcher that becomes confused not knowing where to throw the ball because we had runners standing on 2nd and on 3rd but also a runner 3 ft from the bag tempting the defense to start throwing the ball around...95% of the time with fast base runners who would get into a "run-down" between 1st and 2nd...would cause the defense to panic when they saw the runner at 3rd begin sprinting towards home plate...but if the defense played it correctly..all they had to do was throw the ball to the catcher and my guys couldn't advance...seldom did that happen...after the 3rd or 4th throw back and forth they would inevitably throw the ball to the catcher with the runner stealing home but stopping 3/4th of the way...sprinting back to 3rd base...runner on 2nd runs to 3rd but never touches the bag and starts running back to second...the temptation is too great and sooner or later the ball is thrown over someone's head or in the dirt...not only did we score ton of runs with those type plays but it would also frustrate the opposing teams stud pitcher that had a full mustache although was a 13-14yr old league...the parents would be yelling it's bush league...the coaches would be yelling and arguing with the umpires and our kids would be having the time of their lives laughing...once that pitcher and coach become frustrated that was it....we would win...which we did...a lot...we worked hard on proper base running....on proper pitching techniques...on proper defensive techniques...Our teams won 13 championships out of 15 yrs I coached...and ton of tournaments....ended up playing in the Hall of Fame Classic in Cooperstown...if ever have a chance if coach a team it is worth taking your team there to experience it...Teams from every state and from about 20 or so different countries...we competed well but had no chance of winning that tournament with so many teams....we didn't recruit the top 1-2 players from the most competitive regions in the country as many of the teams did...flying kids in from different states to be part of their teams...we used the same core group that we started off in Tee-Ball from our local community.... We had 13 players and all were good...and each Coach had a lot of baseball knowledge...most played in Division-1, minor leagues....and we had 2 who were local high school coaches as well...5 coaches...I handled the pitchers, called the pitches and protected those kids arms unlike too many of the teams we played.... Softball pitchers do not have the arm issues that baseball pitchers have due to the arm action or slots...that's why a softball pitcher can pitch 2-3 days/games in a row...whereas in baseball, a pitcher has to warm up and if the game is delayed then they are scratched....our pitching rotation rotated young men, teenagers that pitched at the most 2 times a week and were on a hard pitch count....So if you coach, don't get sucked into the winning as much as teaching proper techniques, understanding the nuances and if do that from the time they start baseball by time they reach their teens they are heads and shoulders more efficient, proficient than 90% of the other kids....Did I feel bad for frustrating the opposing teams kids and coaches...NO...It's called life...they need to be mentally strong and take the good with the bad...and move on....but always put the kids first....we did that and that's why I believe our teams were always successful...I miss those days...

Questioning Romero's sac bunt that led to the Sooners grabbing the lead was silly. Yeah, sure, she's gotta hot bat. But what's wrong with praising her for being a team player. Don't know her personally, but I'd bet any amount of money to a donut that team success means more to her than personal stats.
