You are very right! I got assaulted on a Saturday in Auckland cbd It isn’t safe at night Especially on weekends & Friday nights Police don’t do much about it! It seemed safer before the pandemic.. 😢😮

I always hear how unsafe it is but there have always been fights in town after the clubs close ever since I first went there 20 years ago. It’s safer now in my opinion because there are less clubs in town

Auckland, with pretty much the rest of New Zealand, has to be one of the most excruciatingly BORING cities on the planet! It definitely is NO New York City, París, Sydney, Melbourne, Rome, Mexico City, or any other worthy destination city. Queen Street alone is a supremely depressing avenue of ho-hum shops with exorbitantly expensive eateries serving small-portions of food. If anyone is considering visiting New Zealand, I’d think twice about spending so much money in a country that is shamelessly boring and has never bothered to enhance itself toward a truly exciting metropolitan status.
