3:49 Honestly, I'd choose to just become a D&D wizard. Powers would grow with training, and the downside is already provided: I have only a limited number of spell slots each long rest, and if I run out, I'm down to only cantrips. Even cantrips would be great, though. Prestidigitation, Thaumaturgy, Mage Hand, and Minor Illusion would take care of pretty much all of my basic needs, and then I could take Firebolt in case I needed to defend myself. First level spells would grant Find Familiar, which could certainly be very useful, expecially due to being a ritual spell. Cure wounds would make me a surprisingly effective doctor, as a Commoner in D&D only has 4 hit points on average. Shield would be great in a fight, and both Comprehend Languages and Speak with animals have a huge amount of versatility. Things only get better with higher levels, when I'd unlock spells such as Fly, Misty Step, Polymorph, and Control Weather. And then if I made it to the very top of the pack, Contingency paired with Revivify makes my pretty much immortal. Wish is a whole other level of broken, as well.

I'd do this but it's more like a barbarian in dnd and my super powers include being very strong being tough and the ability to rage but I get limited ranges and I have to roll to actually attack things and it can go very well or horribly wrong

7:49 Given that mine would be Doctor-strange-esque magic; the downside being I need to study and practice for ten years first, and if I try something too ambitious, I could mess up reality; I'd go with some classic mage robes; Long, flowing and baggy, large, wide, tall pointy hat; but in moving Galaxy colors, like that effect the End Portal has, but in Galaxy Print, and just these long, flowing galaxy robes, and I'd enchant them to grant levitation and some protection, with a large, hand-carved exotic-Wooden Staff for casting and meelee combat, with a large Galaxy Opal imbedded in the top.

Would a long training time really count as a downside though? I'd say a downside should be something that can occur at any point and cause a negative effect, rather than a period of time during which you have no ability followed by unlimited ability usage with no penalty. Love the idea of Doctor Strange style magic, but maybe a better downside would be something along the lines of the magic being incredibly taxing to cast? Or maybe you can only cast spells a certain number of times each day, with a few weaker spells that could be cast infinitely?

For a good superpower you can go into any game and bring anything out. So you could go into minecraft and bring out ender pearl or commands and bring them out and use them in the real world. But for the down sides are: if you die in the game you die in real life, you lose a part of your memory if you bring stuff out, and you start to glitch if you have to many items or abilities. But you stop glitching, get the memory you put back the power or ability.
