Paige the cat Not really. They preformed, but you don’t know how many times they actually did that dance. Also, everyone had to preform as well. And it probably takes a lot longer for the judges to decide who is going home. This altogether could equal up to 3 hours, which would definitely tighten up your muscles again.

im a competitive dancer and my former dance teacher forced me to go on stage last minute without giving me time to stretch - and i pulled a tendon and was out for weeks. not warming up is extremely dangerous and it almost always ends with injuries.

Flexibility (especially EXTREME flexibility) is so overempathized now. Not everyone is super flexible but that doesn't mean that they cannot be graceful and artistic and a GREAT dancer. Honestly the US competition world is all about tricks and flexibility.

If you mean the flexibility contest, asia showed a lot more back flexibility and Jordyn hurting herself compromised the judges’ confidence in her leg flexibility. They chose correctly in this face off. If you mean she should have won audc, Brianna is just as good of a sport with amazing technique and great stage presence
