Hi there, love your videos! Quick question, I have a preference for slimmer watches, similar to the Patek Philippe Nautilus 5712. I'm considering purchasing my first AP, and am particularly interested in this exact model the 15450or with the rose gold finish and nickel grey dial. I'm concerned about the thickness of AP watches (the case in specific), as I prefer thinner watches. Could you provide some insight into the wearability and thickness of this model, especially in comparison to something like the AP Royal Oak 'Jumbo', which is known for its extra slim profile? Beautiful watch, what size are your wrists? To measure simply take a shoe lace and wrap it around your wrist. measure it on a ruler afterwards.

Depends on the person. I'm 5'11, 155lbs and I have skinny wrists. I still prefer 40mm. I've tried the day date 40 and also datejust 36 and the 36 is way too small

I have a 15400 (41mm) - biggest regret! The 37mm is perfect and I only discovered that when recently vacationing in the US Virgin Islands and trying one on. Think I’m going to sell and get the 15450.

Beautiful timepiece. One of my faves this one with the crystal back and gold rotor. Congratulations on your choice too I think as it ticks more boxes than a base metal one with solid case back. I'm not envious one little bit honestly, I bet it does weigh a chunk being all 18k gold. Gorgeous watch.

It does attract a lot of looks, the polishing on it is spectacular and catches the light like a faceted gem. I've been pretty careful with it; only have some small scratches near the bottom of the wrist.

I don't wear it that often, but did get a couple of small scratches already, but luckily not that noticeable because it's a brushed finish. Accuracy is fine as long as you keep it wound in a winder when you're not wearing it

Thanks, I think I responded to someone else as well - I don't really know, but I use the second to last hole on the LV tambour horizon watch strap and I think the same on the standard Apple Watch too (so relatively narrow wrists)

Stunning!!!!!!! Rolex is THE BEST in my opinion. Most accurate and still stunning too. I have Cartier Santos(auto almost 35mm) and Rolex Yacht-master (37mm case/Bezel 35mm) I do prefer wearing my iWatch (42mm) stainless steel everyday (series 2) for a year now. 😂 I do realize that I really do not belong to make comments on your channel and others... I’m just going to comment anyway. I love wearing uniqlo clothing (peanuts KAWs collection and Coach Peanut collection (Totes, handbags) Yes, sounds juvenile but I really love the simplicity of the collections....yet I love Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent (Bags and accessory) too. I’m obsessed with Gucci loafers and sliders lately but whatever i feel, tend to wear whatever is comfortable for me. It was so interesting last week, I walked into Chanel and I was just wearing coach mini satchel (snoopy), just t-shirt, jeans & jean jacket and OF COURSE they ignore me like a plague😂 As soon as I took off my jacket at the store, HUGE difference there. (I decided to wear my yacht master simply because i forgot to charge my iWatch.) Looking at me up and down and decide to “talk to me”. Karma bites some people. I ended up ignoring them after that. LV /Gucci is always courtesy to me and they know I love snoopy and Woodstock, ohhh hell i have a armband tattoo😄 and my purchases records helps😉 I do enjoy your videos. It maybe just a phase for me just wearing iWatch for now. But your watch is truly STUNNING! My comparison to my Cartier and Rolex was because my Cartier movement is tad slow (repaired twice)sometimes whereas Rolex is sooooooo precise. Had many watches (Seiko, Tags, Michelle etc) Cartier was my first luxury watch 15 years ago and Last and final, Rolex 12 years ago. Both go through maintenance etc) But if you do follow up reviews, I would totally appreciate it!!! 😉

This one? It's their everrose gold, but it's polished as opposed to the mostly matte finish on the AP. I have a yellow gold Daytona to compare it with.

SartorialPhil cool. I’ll look it up. But in regards to the color there are differences in the amount of copper in the gold alloys between the manufacturers. Red, rose and pink gold all have different amounts of cooper so the AP might be red gold and the Rolex rose gold
