That's why if intend to hook I do the exact same setup as if I was going to do a posting toproll and mainly fight for height in the set-up, as doing that not only allows me to actually go for the toproll if needed but it also makes the opponent worried of where I'm going to attack and thus fight for height and maybe even for a deeper grip, in that case the trap was set and it's 100 times easier to come crashing down with supination right after the go. That's why rising is such an important tool for anyone's game, it gives you options. Good luck trying to force a hook and it's your only path to winning and the opponent knows exactly that, it's gonna be a rough day for you.

I’ll give you two pieces of advice for two different target audiences. If you want high numbers, go short-form, structured format. If you would rather a smaller core of subscribers, who will be watching you in 10 years for no other reason then that you are performance enhancing pancakes, you literally cannot make a long enough video. We’d all love to see hour long deep dives with free commentary from you about each arm wrestler. Go deep into their past and specifically their training, intake of nutrients and use of PED‘s

& at what point was this relevant? Or have you just figured out how KZbin works? This man is doing his own thing, which is very unique. No, the channel is offering the same level of analysis and breakdowns as PEP is. Just this alone will make this man grow. Albows second channel isn’t outpacing him it’s barely even growing and this dude is smashing content which is highly entertaining! He’s also a huge promoter of the pay-per-view… We are talking about arm wrestling here. This is a very niche crowd so the average laws of how KZbin works doesn’t necessarily apply. A lot of people in our wrestling are in their 20s and up and they’re actually men who don’t waste their life scrolling KZbin all day.. Most of them don’t care about what celebs are doing they’re in the gym working out or work earning money..

It's both exciting and sad how much the sport has changed over the years. Sure there is more technique and competitiveness, but also more finagling,juicing and loose rules. I don't think it's great that it comes down to who cheats the other guy more, or using ridiculous moves like the king's move not to mention all the juice. Sure some of these things have existed in the past too but my god. When you look at the cesspool this is at the worst, you kind of miss the old days when two guys would just battle it out more so from pure strength and they even had seated arm wrestling at a time. Now we have the king's move. I guess it could be said that it would be boring if it only came down to strength, but if the alternative is cheating,juicing,bending the rules as far as they can go. The winning combo at the end of the day will still be strength+size+juice+tricks so that kind of lessens the argument of it being boring with it being about strength. Anyways some things to consider. Arm wrestling is a cool sport but it also has become kind of ridiculous and a lot of this stuff that goes on nowadays ruins it somewhat to the more average hobbyist.

I got very curious: but what about backpressure? Seems like Auden didn't apply any backpressure. What's the usefulness of it? I understand other principles in the setup but can't understand why he didn't backpressure. It seems like he was just plain stronger so it wasn't necessary.
