Thank you for reviewing MM-100. You are the only KZbinr regularly talking about these. Keep up the good work.

treble emphasis != treble detail. In no respect do I feel like the 100 nor 500 come close to the detail of the LCD-5, despite the stock tuning of the 500 being more agreeable. I do find the 100 to be a good value proposition though.

How do the 100, 500, X, and XC compare to your Diana? I have a Diana TC and I want to buy an Audeze but I'm worried they won't be as detailed. I value detail/resolution over everything.
@ryanhostudio Жыл бұрын
the only one i would consider is the mm-500 even then i think diana mr is better because more treble than mm-500.
@astifcaulkinyeras Жыл бұрын
@@ryanhostudio I see, thanks. What about compared to the Diana TC?
@ryanhostudio Жыл бұрын
the mm-500 is a more normal sounding tuning than diana tc, the diana tc midrange is noticeably more recessed and its treble boost leads to some harshness where mm-500 is more filled out and natural in midrange and smooth as butter in treble region

Add the LCD-2 Rosewoods to the mix. (I only ask because I just received mine and they sound nice to me)😊 oh, and nice comparison...
@ryanhostudio Жыл бұрын
they made different woods for LCD-2 i cant remember what wood they used for the one i heard. But its sound signature is more warm than there newer studio/midrange focused tunings

hello,I just want to use one earphone and don't want to be tired of switching devices all the time depending on the type of music. I listen to 80% classical and 20% jazz and pop. I have also seen the audeze mm500 so far, and I think the instrument part is quite good, and the vocals are in the front, so the female voice sounds good. Do you recommend other headphones at this level? I think the sound field of the mm500 is okay. For classical music, the instrument tone is not too modified. , the low-frequency dive is enough for jazz. I don’t know if I understand this right?

mm-500 is a good headphone with forward vocals

Ryan, I am looking for a lot of bass quantity and quality when hooked up to an amp like the fiio btr7. I am caught between the Audeze mm 100, Audeze LCD 2 Open, Audeze LCD 2 closed, and monoprice monolith 1070c closed. What should I get, and why? Thank you for helping me out!
@ryanhostudio8 ай бұрын
i’m pretty sure all these you listed have flat bass and not much bass quantity. These are all planars too, i suggest you look at the fiio ft5 it’s a planar with lots of bass and should fit what you are looking for. I also have a review of it and comparing it to the audeze mm-100
@cyborg4target8 ай бұрын
really you think so? The Fiio FT5 over even closed back Audezes?@@ryanhostudio

How would you say the MM-100 compares to the LCD-X? The X is probably used more in pro environments than the 500s and 5s.
@ryanhostudio11 ай бұрын
my honest opinion is the lcd-x is definitely not a studio headphone, i’m not sure how it ever passed as one except for people falling for marketing. MM-500 is much better but could still use more treble, i doubt there’s a reason to use the lcd-5 when mm-500 is tuned better
@ryanhostudio11 ай бұрын
also here is a measurement of latest lcd-x, also i have heard it in person as well it’s not great www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/audeze-lcd-x-review-2021-edition-headphone.25271/

Top 5 end game headphones for movies please? I am in a big dilemma wether to go for the sennheiser hd800s for the amazing soundstage or go for the mm500 or a susvara. I dont listen to music nor mix music. I just want something for home cinema movies.
@ryanhostudio11 ай бұрын
heard the sony mdr-mv1 and convinced that’s the goat now. Thing has really amazing bass with a good tuning that’s way more fun than hd800s, susvara, or mm-500 and that’s the type of sound i would want to listen to movies with

Audeze service is horrible. My Lcd-1 has problem and they don't repair it because this model is "discontinued" they said
