AUDI 90 20V TURBO | VWHome

As a young teenager the passion for Audi 90 began with the car of a good friend and turned into the first own car with this Audi 90 Typ 81 from 1986. The original tizianred was repainted, new beige leather, alcantara and carpet took place inside together with Recaro seats, h&r deep coilovers, 7,5x17" BBS RS were modifications over years.
Last step was to switch from the original JS engine to an AAN of an Audi S4. Audiland revised and strengthened the whole engine. It got a brandnew KKK 24/7200 with an elbow, vems motor control, 3 inch exhaust system, Wagner intake and custom made pipes and coolers. A mass flywheel transmits the power with a manual 6 speedgearbox to the wheels on the axle and brakes of an Audi RS2.
After all these years i fulfilled all my wishes, but only the engine turned this beauty into my dream which isn’t under control and well that something Alan Watts meant, for me it is bliss.

@Mikael Well yes and no, as of a year later yes I sold it. The amount of work that engine (a 1600CC) needed was too much for me. But I still think that they are great cars if you have the pennies to drop into it. Next tot that the peerburg carbs they put on those engines are imo absolutely shite which in the end necked my car completely. For a student it wasn't a feasible car to drive so had to sell it

What a shame Audi never carried on the model system (100,200) through the years and also the shape and DNA of the 80's Audi's.....BMW had the tenacity to carry on the model system (330. 530 etc) and more importantly the shape and DNA of the cars so in future years i.e now you could see a direct link down the years. Awesome car.

Ist mir ein klein wenig zu tief. Sonst nur geil ! Würde fast jeden Neuwagen dafür stehen lassen. Außerdem ist der 5-Ender klanglich einer der schönsten Motoren die je gebaut wurden... brauchste keine Anlage, die Maschine mach die Musik.

How do you know? I know one story where there was 2 good friends. One of them died in the accident. When they were alive they use to drive gocarts a lot. Then after the accident a guy who was investigating the case had a dream where he met the boy who died in the accident. They didn't know each other at all in person. In that dream the boy said to him. Tell my mom that I am happy up here and that I am driving a gocarts with my friend. So the story is. When the profesor that was investigating the case phone his mother about the dream. He told her that her son told shim not to be worried as her son told him to say that to her. He said what was in the dream. She started crying. It came out that his best friend that he use to drive gocarts with at the time of funeral said something like " i will really miss you my friend and soon we will enjoy driving gocarts again" Next day the guy had a heart attack and he passed away as well. So I think that when we die we kind of create our perfect world so we can enjoy our heaven. We can kind of take everything we really love with us. That is what I think.

Outside headlights should be chromed, they just should. They make the car complete. I had one (a Quattro) for 10 years. Worst decision I ever made was to get rid of it. Even today, 20 years later ( and with an A4 Avant Quattro (200bhp)) I wish I still had my 90 Quattro. Best car I ever drove (and I have driven quite a few). I take it you have have the later Audi 90 series engine installed.
