I have 2010 A3 in same red and silver wheels. Looks amazing. It’s got over 160,000kms and still running strong. That’s after dealer replaced the transmission. Very strong engine and goes like stink. I clocked it at 5.9 sec. Not bad for $10,00O Cdn.

I really find Australia’s car size classifications weird. In Europe and many other countries this a medium sized car. This is a family sized car for many 1 car families. A small car is an A1 / polo sized.
@afcgeo8825 жыл бұрын
CaiandtheMoose A Polo or similar is classified as a city/sub-compact car in Europe, with the A3 classified as a luxury compact. What’s the synonym for compact again? Oh yeah... SMALL!
@rotoehu92665 жыл бұрын
Amazing that these days a 4.3m long car is considered small... Have a look at ~1min into the video, the car doesn’t really fit the description of small and cute. The Audi A3 must be due for a new gen, looking quite old now, and imo a new Mazda 3 is classier inside and out.

Australia mate. All cars including the big sedans, are small. Except SUVs lol

The new gen should be out late next year, based on the Mark VIII Golf.

You buy a Mazda then, let's see it. I was actually going to, based on previous design.. then I saw the new Mazda 3 and ran away and bought an Audi. Paid a little more, but no contest, a superior automobile in every way.

Great review but the Golf equivalent is 1,000's cheaper and loads more safety features.

Anyone know when exactly is Audi going to release the new facelift version of the Audi A3? I am in the UK 🇬🇧. I don’t want to buy the old look when the new version is expected to be announced soon

40k for a hatchback that's not even close to a hot hatch and non standard safety equipment. Not a good buy in my book.

Aren't they going to replace it yet? It's been out there for many years now and although it's well made it started to show it's age and it looks outdated compared to the 8th gen Golf. Also, there are a lot of technologies and features that need to make their way to the A3.

I remember this channel reviewing Utes with a focus on families and destroying them for the backseats and the car seat specs, yet this video completely glossed over the fact that only two can reasonably fit - in this review focusing on family cars??

7homas 0wen The LED lights, format and back, which include the scrolling rear indicators are an optional extra, bought in the “Style package”. They’re worth getting if you can afford them. They’re literally brilliant!

Paul Marley I know they are great! Mums got an S3 and they’re fitted front and back. I remember whilst looking for cars we also looked at the A3 and it had the leds fitted front and rear and according to the salesman this came standard. Mind you this was a few years ago now and they weren’t dynamic but they were still led at least on the A3.
