It's the ProClip / Brodit mount. It just connects between the dash and the radio trim. No drilling required, but there is a mark on the dash from where it was sitting for years.

It is turboback. It's the APR exhaust, but if I remember correctly the downpipe is made by Corsa who make the APR exhaust now, the catback though, I bought used and it was made by whichever company made exhausts for APR before Corsa.

@KillaGazebo1 I have since changed the exhaust to the stock cat back... it's quieter at idle... but with the 3" down pipe, almost as loud when you open it up. The car has the APR high pressure fuel pump, APR 3" down pipe, Carbonio intake with K&N filter, H&R Sport Springs with Koni FSD dampers, H&R rear sway bar, Neuspeed lightweight crankshaft pulley, Forge short throw shifter with 52draft design aluminum bushings... I am probably forgetting something but thats it for now...

Same here. Goldie is 10 years old now (she had a birthday cake !! ;-) and I really enjoy her, especially, with Eurodyne Stage 1, ST coils and Magnaflow turbo back. Thanks for your info.

@kickflip132 Had it on a dyno the past summer and it puts 230hp and 275lb torque to the wheels. That would make it about 280hp at the crank. Could have been better with a better intake... I might get to that later. For now I'm happy with it as it is.

@LetMeGetY0uHigh Car base price is $32K Canadian... with the option packages, fees and taxes (13%) added on it was $42K out the door. Plus about $5000 in mods if you include the wheels. Right now you can probably get one the same year with similar mods for about $25K or so.

@DJGEORGENERY1 It's the Pro Clip mount... I believe in europe they sell it as Brodit... two piece clip. Car specific mount for the dash and a phone specific attachment.

Beauty A3 man. I have an 07 S-line myself and I'm planning on doing a similar set up. what size of a downpipe did you choose/recommend? also what tune would u recommend? unitronics, hpa, etc...?

Again sorry for the slow reply... I have 3" which is the most common. Heard 2.75" is better, but can't speak from experience. I've had no issues and currently running a 3" DP and stock cat back setup... Pretty happy with the sound and performance.

It's 230Whp and 275 Torque at the wheels... that should make it somewhere around 280 Bhp and 310 ish Torque at the crank. That is with the stock intake, I think I can probably squeeze 5-10hp more out of it when my Forge intake gets here.
@001Gryphon
@001Gryphon 11 жыл бұрын
Last time I had it on a Dyno it was pulling 230 hp at the wheels and 275 torque. That would make it around 280 Bhp and a bit over 300 torque at the crank which means it is around 30 more hp from where it was on stage 1. I have since installed a Forge Twintake intake which means I likely gained a handful of HP but lost a bit of torque. Never timed it 0-100 so can't really give you a reliable number there. Stage 1 - Stage 2+ is not night and day but it is still very noticeable.

Hey, sorry for the slow reply. Haven't been on here much lately. I'm running the APR 3" down pipe on there along with the APR Race exhaust... Though I'm pretty sure it's the same as the Sport. Basically no muffler and a big resonator instead. At that time still with a stock intake I think. I'm back to the 3" down pipe and stock fatback now. It has a nice subtle rumble at idle and low speed but can still get loud when I want it to.

+Landon Hoeper I'm running the same setup but with a high flow cat... So far never had a CEL or an issue with emissions. Love how that setup sounds, I can actually still hear the Turbo spooling when I drive. Especially running the Forge Twintake now...😀

Thanks! Though I went back to the stock catback with a 3" down pipe now.... The drone was killing me. Sounds just as good when you open it up... But quieter at idle and no drone. The lights are 2009+ OEM Euro spec with some Lamin-x tint in them. Got them from the Audizine classifieds.

What comes with a 2+ stage 2 tuning? Thank you Tony
@HELLAHO3S
@HELLAHO3S 7 жыл бұрын
Tony Attard first off you'd start off with a stage 2 remap and with that ideally you would need an induction kit, decat exhaust (preferably a custom 3" and leave the back box in and remove the centre, that way it's not loud and you keep back pressure at a good level), high pressure fuel pump and rs4 fuel reg... if you got the money to spend on it. Run the car on shell v power or tescos 98 for best results that roughly would be around 355 to 380 bhp then start thinking about upgraded brakes for obvious reasons and an upgraded clutch if it's manual or a dsg gearbox remap if it's dsg, you want half decent tyres aswell. at the end of the day it comes down to how much money you want to spend and how well you want the overall car to perform

That was the ProClip, but I since upgraded to the Niteize Steelie. Much better IMO because it's more subtle. Holds the phone with a magnet on a small steel sphere attached to the dash.

You can buy a 1.6-2.0l A3 in the UK second hand for £3000-7000ish, which is roughly 7500 US $ and about 9200 CAN $

In Canada, a 2.0T will set you back between $10,000 - $12,000 for a decent 2008MY. But we get screwed here for model/engine/transmission availability. Good example is the new A3. We can only buy the sedan with 2.0T engine. Diesel and hybrid might be available in hatchback eventually, but FWD only. For years if you wanted an A3 2.0T you could only get FWD... When they brought the Quattro models, they were only available in DSG not manual.

joe Stimac If you do your research and have a bit of money stashed away for maintenance I would recommend it yes. I just bought a 2010 S-Line with 90k miles and I love it. The DSG is quirky and takes some getting used to but its quick and I gave up on finding a well cared for manual A3 locally. Definitely check out Audizine and other forums for opinions and tips

That is a Proclip mount. www.proclipusa.com/product-finder/device/phone/apple I’ve changed it up and went with the Nillkin magnetic holder. It’s easier to put the phone on the holder and it holds pretty well, but it does require a metal piece to be attached onto the back of the phone.its also a wireless charger though. Wireless Car Charger Mount, Nillkin Dashboard Magnetic Phone Holder 10W Fast Qi Charging for Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+/S9/S9 Plus/S8/Note 8/S7/S7 Edge, iPhone X/XS/XS Max/XR/8/8 Plus and More (Model C) www.amazon.ca/dp/B07L73F9GS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_s1L-CbXK6A1G6

Matt. B. Last time it was on a Dyno was a few years ago... 239hp and 275 lbft torque at the front wheels. So probably somewhere north of 280/290 ish at the crank. That was at stage 2+ with APR 3” Race exhaust. Since then the only mod was the Forge ‘Twintake’ Intake.
