Audi A4 2021 review: 45 TFSI

I hate the constant comparisons to an SUV, it’s a sport/luxury saloon not an SUV! Ignore this reviewer listen to what I’m about to say. This car is great, it’s agile, spacious enough, economical, smooth, quiet and comfortable. It beats all its immediate rivals, overall. However there are rivals which provide a better sense of luxury or a more confident drive. If you need an SUV for a good view of the road because you can’t judge distances, ie you’re a terrible driver, then you should go buy an SUV. But SUV’s in a similar price bracket won’t be as comfortable, agile, economical or spacious. Especially those fake SUV’s such as a BMW X1 or an Audi Q3. Hope my summary helped.

Everyone has an excuse for having an SUV, 10-15 years ago the most popular cars on our roads were Commodores, Falcons, Camrys, Magnas, etc. They were spacious, comfortable, had ample boot space and leg room with good proportions. Suddenly everyone and their mum “needs” an SUV - whatever happened to NORMAL cars that sat at a reasonable height, and handled well. The days when SUVs were actually for off roading, not these lifted hatchbacks.

i don't understand why young professionals are buying mid size SUVs? SUVs make sense only for people with kids who need to throw prams in the boot (which is kinda difficult in a sedan). Otherwise I would pick sedan all day long.

Yeah I had a 2008 A4 & someone hit me in the back farely hard while entering the highway & when I got out to look, it was just a small nick, I couldn't believe it,so they are well built.

@@djsthemetereman check out this news from Singapore. An Audi A4 hit a bus and totaled the entire front engine bay but the driver seems to be fine physically. mothership.sg/2020/12/jurong-island-accident/

@@blessedvillain Wow! Yeah that accident looked like no one survived but again cars like audi, & Volvo is another one are so well built that the literal frame of the car is still in tact even after a big impact.

Mine is the Canadian Audi A4 45 TFSI Quatro KOMFORT however the only badge on the trunk lid is the "QUATRO" badge. Thoughts?

They did it right lower class gets different interior have to save the best for higher class to balance sales

Audis, BMW and Mercedes are cars you trade away when the warranty expires. That's when maintenance nightmares happens on so many of these cars.

not with the new ones like this. If you properly maintain these cars, they do last quite long. But services are expensive. But i guess that;s the price you pay for driving such machines.

That’s nothing. In Singapore, the lowest trim Audi A4 costs usd $120,000..... and the Mercedes c class is easily $140,000.

Comparing a sedan to an SUV - vehicle not in the same category makes you lose credibility towards the audience. Please refrain from doing that in future. This car is a sedan and is meant to be compared with other sedans, and comparing it to SUVs is totally irrelevant, since they do not appeal to the same buyer. If I want an SUV, I will not start and look at sedans… Irrelevant comparison.

The grey paint is nasty (and a very unsafe colour) and that infotainment screen looks like an afterthought just stuck on the dash.
