+Aamir Afzal The truth is - I do respect Carbuyer's reviews, but let's be honest - no negative points in this review. There is no car without negative points. On rear seats headroom - C Class has 942mm, 3 Series has 957mm and Audi A4 has 953mm. It's not big difference, I would say. And C Class is the only one tested with sunroof, while others were tested without it. Now, that's a big difference, if you ask me.

+Aron Bell This Audi wasn't fully loaded with extras, but on a lot of reviews of new BMW's they are very over loaded with options to the tune of £10,000 plus. I think they should test a basic spec cars.

+Aron Bell We test cars in a variety of specs and trim levels with different engines so that we can get the best idea of the whole range. We've tested the A4 in top-spec 3.0 TDI S line trim, but wasn't available for us to film so we have this model instead.

I don't understand why one cannot like the new a4... I really don't... And ffs mat why weren't you actually impressed by the mpg figure? Claiming 74 mpg and getting 65 out of it is really rather good for a car like that.

It's pretty obvious what are the differences in old and new one. Sharper edges, new front and back lights, it's longer etc.

It's remarkable how this new Audi comes along ... and virtually nothing is said about the interior. I think that's a nice illustration of the way Mercedes set the new benchmark of interior design and quality when they introduced the latest C Class, leaving Audi trailing for the first time in many years. In spite of some neat touches like the clear and crisp controls for the airconditioning, Audi didn't catch up with Merc at all. On the other hand: rear legroom does seem really impressive for a compact executive, and if the way other Audi VAG products have made huge progress in terms of ride, handling, performance and fuel eonomy recently (thanks to the group's very light new platforms) is anything to go by, the A4 promises to be an impressive performer in other areas, too.

Mercedes have a more luxury interior but you pay for that. Audi are more conservative and look far nicer externally than Mercedes. It is really about taste and personal choice.

Car trip computers always show more mpg than you are actually getting. Usually the difference between the actual fuel consumption and the one which the trip computer shows is between 10-20%.

But to be honest, I think specifically that bit of software should be standard across all cars. But again it is pretty new thing in cars, so I kind of understand why they or any other brand wants to charge for it.

I've noticed in a lot of your videos, you blame the manufacturer for the fuel consumption ratings not matching the real world figures. But all cars in the EU are tested on the NEDC, which is notorious for being very unrepresentative of real world driving. For example, the EPA in the US rates the Tesla Model S at 270 miles, and the same car in the EU is rated at 330 miles under the NEDC. So what you really should be blaming is the EU using the NEDC that all manufacturers are forced to use.

Still haven't figured out the workings of the wide air vent. It's supposed to be opened or closed by touch sensitive centre console, but no difference. Thinking it's for show only? Also, mine isn't equipped with deep storage box under headlight control, is it 'cos no gun storage needed in UK market? mmm No additional storage in rear central arm rest :( on 6 gear manual. Like the centre of steering wheel, reflects the new grill design.

The interior, particularly the air vents, mirror that of the new VW Passat. Then again that's hardly any big surprise. Apart from the badge and price, what is there to distinguish the new A4 from VW and Skoda variants? Very little I'd wager.

Out of all the luxury car makers, the Germans are the only one to not make leather standard. In 06 Audi 4 n 6, BMW 3 n 5 had vinyl or cloth as standard while Lexus IS n ES, jaguar x and s type and maser ghibli all have leather as standard. I think there was a new E class that didn't have standard leather seats.

Matt reviews are the best. very informative and funny as well. I actually prefer the new VW strategy making cars bigger to suit us the Americans. we do indeed love large cars. I am 196cm and this car will accommodate me and my rear passenger. The older models were just too compact and less roomy..

Very nice, although I really don't like the new headlights, they are way too sharp. The original A4 LEDs were still the best in my opinion, the flow was much better. Other than that, it's a superb car.

What annoys me most about new cars and especially the standard "benchmark" cars is that tend to get bigger every freaking time a new model comes, a little bit bigger, naah just a littel bit bigger on and on - Is there any new segment cars that have gotten smaller this year or last year ? ....even the latest McLaren 550S is bigger.

(From needraintodrift), and couldn't agree more: The 2015 3 series (f30) looks like a facelift 2005 3 series (e90). The new Audi A4 is pretty much the same since 2008 The C class looks like a baby S class (And I'd add that the interior of the 3 series is the same since 1999)

@@akj2387 Yeah, I googled it and apparently Android Auto was never supported by Audi here. Only Apple Carplay was supported. So, I guess it depends on the country if they have it.
