Unfortunately this Audi like many others needs those options to make it something special. Without the options the car will seem barren. The downside going from £70, 000 to £110,000 that is just a very painful price. Still after 2-3 years the car will be out on the market for sale at around £40,000

Benzinio have a look in the flesh.That A8 has an elegant shape and lots of presence. I've been in both now and all I can say is driving them I thought the Audi is hands down better. Being driven is closer call but the A8 version I got to ride in didn't have the predictive suspension but was still too close to call on ride comfort but if the trick suspension option is as good as reported then that will take the Audi to the top of the land yacht sector. What is disappointing though, is how the BMW has failed with the 7 series! The interior is a mess, the outside is shapeless and although I have not driven it. The other two fails would rule it out on my short list

You might be right (and my thoughts might be only theoretical as I have only sit, not driven them), but in my point of view this cars are not about how you drive them, it is all about how you are driven in them... I wouldn't take long base limousine for my daily commute, and here S still shines as high end chauffeur driven limo. I personally prefer the exterior of the S as well, and definitely the interior of the S it is a step higher. Audi looks too technical inside, which is not exactly luxury I personally find the 2 touchscreens inappropriate and fiddly to use. I can imagine it will be also distracting while driving.

Benzinio both are at the top of the league and well in front of the competition. I guess it then comes down to personal choice and i respect yours.

My 2bar Oh, I dont think S80 and A8 are in the same league... Volvo might look great and might be luxury brand in overall but you cant compare Volvo 4L engines with the Germans V6, V8 and even V12 in some models... and lets face it Volvo still dont have same reliability as the "German trio" - this is not the legendary reliable Volvo from 20+ years ago

My 2bar Look are highly subjective, I find all the German brands (in most instances) and Jaguar’s to be better looking and more interesting, interior quality is nice but very bland dashboards. Once all things considered the only Volvo I’d consider in its class might be the XC40 but even then probably not.

will otoole it’s such a shame they do this. These are premium products at the cutting edge of technology then they come out with design replicating Korean cars from the 90’s. £110k for fake exhausts? One wonders what else maybe fake about the car. Such a massive shame they’re going down this road.
