Audi B7 RS4 One Take - Driving Experience

This week, we take the Audi B7 RS4 out for a drive. This is my take on Matt Farrah's One Take series. He's got better roads out there in California, but we will take what we can get over here in Maryland. I wanted to see if I could talk about and show you all the driving experience of the B7 RS4 Anyway, I've hooked up the GoPro, with a nice microphone attached to capture the exhaust note from this legendary V8 from Audi. In my opinion, the Audi B7 RS4 has one of the best exhaust notes of all time. Take a listen and let me know what you think in the comments.
I've said this before, but if you ever have the chance to drive the Audi B7 RS4, I would highly recommend it. They don't make cars like this anymore and you won't believe how high the engine in the RS4 revs out. You don't see these kinds of revs out of most V8s.
My last Audi was a S3 and while that thing was quick, it was just not as fun as the RS4. There's nothing like rowing through the six speed manual transmission. I will also say that the RS4 blows my Volkswagen Jetta GLI out of the water. Can't really compare them.

I am fortunate to own a 2008 RS4, and it is a blast to drive. Very analog and that engine/exhaust output at 8,000 rpms is exhilarating. Grand Tour just did an episode about it.

Great content on the RS4, SHIFTD. Appreciate you sharing your journey. Do you know if your intake manifold has been deflapped? Know that's a common mod guys have done to avoid possible issues with the screws backing out and/or flaps disintegrating and falling into the combustion chambers.

Mine has not been deflapped. Previous owner check everything when they did the carbon clean and found that all the screws were tight and flaps all looked to be in good condition so he left them alone.

Makes a 12 min "driving experience video" with one of the best sounding V8s, installs a GoPro with a "good" mic in the back, explains it red lines at 8250 rpm, and then makes a 2 sec pull to 6000 rpm and calls it a day. WTF dude :)))
