@@michaelcoyle1062 I have Merc racing intake cooler ordered, CTS Radiator for it, AWE downpipes (figure I'll weld up my own exhaust), serviceable oil line kit ordered, and was going to go CTS turbo, but then I found Quicker racing was doing a 54mm ball bearing for $500 more (I emailed em). . . Either way, spooley bois will get upgraded. Probably do the fuel kit with Ethanol sensor, and maybe meth injection. I'll be done at that point.

Awesome build! Man that's surprising a stage 2 Golf R beats a downpipe B8 S4. I'd love to buy an S6 but I'm looking for a b8.5 S4 right now. Now I'm thinking about a Golf R again though.....

Yea, my dual pulley b8.5 s4 couldn’t take the R. When I had no cats on it it was faster, but it was too loud for my taste. I put the JHM catted downpipes on it and slowed her down a bit. Once my buddy (known as the Gap Lord) lol, started getting good at brake boosting, the s4 couldn’t hang anymore. But it was OTS IE tune. I’m sure other tunes or even an E40 tune would smash him. The S4 is a better car than the R and more practical imho. Thanks for watching

I have same model, only thing done to it is a catless downpipe and a stage 2 tune. 570hp. And a transmission tune. But i should atleast replace the intercooler with a bigger one.

I highly recommend the heat exchanger from JHM. Theirs comes with the mounting bracket already installed for a really simple install. They have black and chrome. I eventually did rs7 turbos; what a beast! good luck man

@@mrd799 UNITRONIC STAGE 2+ : 665HP / 634LB-FT It was a massive gain. I also went ahead and swapped the driveshaft bearing and put in drivetrain inserts for peace of mind. Your car is already one of the fastest on the road. I'd say that if you ever have turbos fail, then go the rs7 route. I did mine because I was worried about the turbo screen. So I did the JHM screen relo kit, updated PCV and rs7 turbskis. It is an amazing car, but that final level was a lot of money so in hindsight, I'd only do it after a failed turbo. I would recommend SRM intakes. The cars has rs7 turbos now and it’s worth it to go with SRM intake. Sounds better too. Thanks for watching

@@michaelcoyle1062 flashing from home is huge. I couldn't imagine going APR or something else that requires a "dealer" unless you got special warranty support. If you haven't, I'd look very seriously at DS1. Excellent canned OTS (off the shelf) tunes but it also is a tuning platform itself for logging and custom tunes. @@hikeskool Thanks. I am stage 2 TCU with Unitronic as well. Honestly, I never looked at DS1 until recently. They are gaining a reputation. I'm already VERY invested with Uni lol so switching now would be costly. I'm comfortable with Unitronic being a slightly less aggressive tune also. The car is fast, super fast, on June 5th, I'll go rs7 turbos, jhm oil screen relo kit and updated pcv. I cant imagine how it'll feel w 665hp and 634 tq, but looking forward to it!

the 3.0t can push quite a bit more power. The 2.0t can to but not nearly as much. Either way a stage 1 or 1+ tune will really wake up either engine. Good luck!

How much lower did your car go? Looks good. I had mine lowered 15mm but that wasn’t using h&r. My mechanic just recalibrated the suspension parameters. I think I can go to 20mm

I did the same thing with my OBDEleven! Audi says max is 17mm I think, I went with 15 just like you. I’m sure you could get away with 20 of Audi days 17 is okay but might risk tires bumping into the frame up too

No, just pay the difference. So yes, each step will cost you more but you won’t pay twice. Honestly, stage 1+ is an awesome sweet spot on this car. I’ve gone 2+ w rs7 turbos now.

Either turn camera stabilization on or get a camera stabilizer.... Like I can't watch this anymore and I'm only 2mins and 10secs in. It's ridiculous. Had I played this back while editing I would have cut the shots out that were shaky and then if there were any that couldn't be removed, I would have either apologized to the audience or reshot all that I've done. You cannot do B-Roll without a stabilizer, so please don't do it again.
