I owned an 2008 Acura RDX for a good 11 years love it a lot! But must say I really like the 2009 Q5 it’s design it’s sporty, I might be the only one to think this but the design cues kinda look similar to The RDX

My key fob will not unlock/lock front doors but will lock/unlock back doors sometimes I have to take actual key out of the fob to unlock front doors any advice thanks

Check if it burns oil. That will cost you about 3.000 € to fix it not at official service

The 3.6 is a better engine, less problems because no turbo

For 2010/2011 do you have the issue of a rough idle. Meaning after you start it up the inside starts to vibrate and such. This only happens when the car is turned on but then it goes away after driving it for a while. It's kind of hard to explain but that's my only complaint. The car drives fine and everything else.

How much horsepower and torque did the 2013 supercharged Q5 come with? I was looking at a 2010 Premium Plus Q5 fully loaded. Which year would you recommend? I wish Audi used LED interior and license light.

The 3.0T offered 272 hp. I would strongly recommend the 3.0T over the prior 3.2L V6 if you're choosing between those. The 2.0T is also a good option if you're more into good gas mileage than performance. I would lean toward recommending a 2013 or newer as early models in an all new vehicle tend to have kinks that the manufacturer works out over time. The 2013 saw a minor refresh, but you will see a jump in prices going from the 2012 to 2013.

@@DrivenCompanion Aren't those turbo diesels though? I wanted just normal gasoline engines. It's pretty hard finding one around here. I want a Q5 in white with the premium plus package.

The 3.0T is a supercharged V6 that runs on gasoline. The diesel is also a 3.0L turbo so I can see where that would be confusing - usually its just referred to as the TDI.

@@DrivenCompanion Found a 2011 Q5 S Line with 45k for 15k said available and I called and they told me it was already sold. That was a low blow for me. The ones with 100k seem a dime a dozen but the good ones are gone in a blink of an eye! I'm still going to keep looking. Thanks for the info.

I guess you forgot to explain that weird key fob that people think it’s push start, but it actually has to be thrown in slot next to vents and pushed in while holding brakes to start engine.. that gets everyone all the time 😂

in NA market 3.2L Q5 was equipped with 6sp Transmission while 2.0T were equipped with 8sp DSG. So the car in review being 3.3L V6 version is 6sp.

Hated mine. I was lucky to sell it at a profit during this pandemic. Glad I got rid of it. Too many electrical issues, ECU was ruined by water, TCM couldn't get 12v, wheel bearings, rear camera stopped working, fuel issues, just not worth it
