WE took the new all new 2024,/2025 Audi Q6 etron out in Norway to see what Audi's been working on. It's based on Audi's new PPE (Premium Platform Electric) platform, offering space, fast charge with its 800 volt, longer range of up to 406miles WLTP and has plenty of tech to enjoy.

Nice review of a highly spec'd car. Having been through the configurator many of the things you point out are options which drives the price way up, and I would have liked to hear the actual price of the version you were reviewing. For example the heads-up display is an option, the passenger screen is an option, the adaptive air suspension is an option, even the frunk is an option in a luggage pack (which IMHO is a terrible decision by Audi).

Great car, but as far as I can see you can only get air suspension in the UK on SQ6 cars, not on the Q6 (sport and S line have comfort suspension, edition one has lowered sport suspension). Haven’t seen a press car on KZbin without air suspension yet. I have an etron 55. How does the ride compare?

Hi, had a look at one in the metal at my local dealership in York. Had the buttons in the boot for lowering/raising the air suspension. I think it's possibly only on the quattro models mind you. Didn't love the blue colour but each to their own...

What is “digital key” on the menu? Is Audi supporting Apple CarKey now? Thanks.

It's for the Audi connect app, meaning you can give keys to other users, it works with UWB so not Apple car key if that's even a thing

Have you driven the Q8 or Q8 etron? How does this compare tyre-noise wise?

I have the Q8 etron. Hard to compare because I drove it on the UK tarmac which is probably noisier than the Norwegian ones or the other way round

I have seen a review that said the Q8 was more silent. I drove (and ordered) the Q6 but found the tyre noise not an issue at all. I live in the Netherlands and was used to a Tesla M3.
