So for anyone attempting this method, you can't make a dealer key using KTP this way, only vvdi2 can do this. KTP only has an option to make dealer key from immo data. Oh and autel will extract data from ecu only in direct mode, won't read using gbox2. Hope this helps someone somewhere :)

What year Q7? Can you explain why you need to grind off screw heads? I wish you would have shown that procedure. Are they glued in? Could you do that pinout on the car like a BMW DME read? What is the alternate method to do this? Is this BCM2 or the sealed metal module behind steering column? Nice videos and perfect English!

Thanks for the video 😊 I always thought you need to remove the EZS module on these. But i guess it depends on the ecu on the car and if autel can read it huh? Also is the procedure similar on the same year audi a6? Thanks 👍

Because autel need 32 digits CS. Only vvdi can do with 7 digits

Just got an A6 same year and i noticed that key tool plus pad doesn't have an option to make dealer key with cs bytes and pin code. As soon as i go to make dealer key, it asks to load immo data amd no manual option like vvdi2. However i see autel has that option, guess I'll have to try :) Or maybe someone knows how to manually make a dealer key eith KTP? Thanks
