Audi Q7: How To Fit Adults in the 3rd Row!! (Yes it can be done!)

Many journalists and customers have complained about the unsuitableness of the second generation Audi Q7's 3rd row for adults. If you learn how to correctly setup the interior it may comes as a surprise that it's not too bad back there! This is a tutorial of how to correctly setup the 2nd and 3rd rows of the 2017+ Audi Q7! I am around 5'11" and when setup correctly I have no trouble sitting back there for medium length trips!

Does anyone know if the 3rd row can be split & only fold one side down? This would be really great for travelling where you only need 1 person in the back, so you have much more storage room next to the 1 unfolded 3rd row seat. You could put a nice ice cooler there and have food/drinks accessible for the whole car!

Yes 100% can be done. Both sides have completely separate buttons to fold them.

They do not recline. They have 2 locked positions, fully up or fully down. Hope this helps!

It's awesome Competing with the X5 the X5 has 3rd row seats for kids or people under 5"3 while this Audi has adequate space for medium sized adults making it the poor man's GLS and X7 Downside is the 2l turbo engine itself costs nearly $135000 equivalent here in Sri Lanka and it kind of feels insufficient for a SUV at this size

Audi and many others car manufacturer vehicles companies should be sued for placing a third row of seatings in their vehicles many vast owners or new car persons needed spaces in their car,SUV ects.

Why if you dont use the seats in third row you can fold them flat and you will have a huge trunk and its done automticaly by pressing a button. I dont think that they can do a better job than that if you need third row for children or short adults its there i think its a good option.
