I don't even have Q7 but this video is very simplistic and also detailed to the point where you don't need to watch other ones. I do have to make a suggestion to record a YT short with lights being used in the dark, footage from parking garage to show the cutoff line. If you are comfortable with reassembling headlights, I would suggest cleaning the lenses as they can improve performance of bulbs(both HIDs and LEDs). Cheers

I have disassemble head lights on my S4. But that was a project for sure. I agree it's crazy to see how being clean makes a big improvement

The LEDs are pretty good and going strong. I do notice that on majority of new cars that my headlights/fogs out perform as I am approaching a car from the side. Even a one car length away incanntell my light set up outperforms from a distance . If that makes sense

With time halogens / HID tend to faid as times goes on. The same goes for LEDs too but they have a longer life

Visibility during rain ot at night will be reduced. You are asking for trouble. This lamp is not designed for led bulb. It will not work properly.

I have noticed way better out put at night. Can't saw for rain at night, since I haven't had the opportunity to drive in the rain at night. And that's where I went wrong when doing comparisons. I did it all in the garage and not do the comparison out side on the road

@@markb6s4 Driving at night with these unsuitable LED lights is just an illusion. The most important thing is the range of light. The LEDs have a short range. If something is lying on the road, you will notice it too late and an accident will occur. That's why LED lamps cost so much, it's an advanced technology and Chinese LED bulbs for ordinary halogen lamps cannot change that. I've been through this in my BMW. In the event of an accident, the insurance company will not pay compensation.
