Audi Q8 e-tron Electric SUV is gonna be a sales hit

The Q8 etron will be a major sales hit i reckon. Starting from below RM400k, this Cayenne sized Electric SUV is gonna be a home run

This is my second car in Oslo, first being the Tesla Y. The car rides well, comfortable etc, the typical German engineering legacy highlights.. but it doesn't really give you the EV experience where the tech shines more. Lack of usable mobile app, bad efficiency, average charging capabilities, outdated UI on the screen, virtually no software updates are some of the pain points.Then the car shown here has their charging port on the wrong side (right side is the wrong side and left side is the right side).. other countries get both ports to adapt to the predominantly left side friendly charge points. This car is really for the Audi enthusiasts who have no expectations on the tech and really wants to enjoy the Audi engineering drivability wrapped in an EV.

The size of the car is confusing. Sometimes it looks huge, sometimes small. I think you're right that it's the size of the wheels that confuse. If no ones in the picture it looks like an A3 or a lifted A6 as you say.

As an owner of an ICE Q8 and an EV6, I am not overly impressed. The bold stance of the current Q8 gives it its presence over a Q7, Q5, and rivals. Sure, it's a sexy SUV, but it doesn't compare to the specs on a model Y, DC fast charging is slower than my EV6. It's an amazing SUV, I don't agree with the Q8 badging. Great review, though!

Nice review Bobby. Just wondering aloud... those days people would stay away from Audi because of the poor after sales service. I assume with new distributors this is no longer the case? Would it be comparable to BMW today?

Depends on your taste. But at least iX looks more futuristic for inside and looks better overall while Audi Q8 looks good although not as good as BMW iX but at least looks good overall including exterior. Even both technology for BMW iX And Audi Q8 are good. Overall, better than Mercedes EQC to be honest

My IX is on 77kwh battery and on paper it shows 426km but in actual I can only manage to do 310km from 100-10% on highways. So I would expect the same 300km range for e tron but for 95kwh, the drive is really inefficient.

Sadly in Msia we cant spec the car; no panoramic roof. It comes as it is. U must be nuts to pay 10% deposit on this. 😂😂😂 Pay with in your means. Dont wait book yours today. I know i have.

@@EverythingMOTO2020 is my personal financial gauge on whether I can afford that vehicle, cars depreciate way faster than loan repayment, certainly one does not wish to sell during an emergency and still owe bank money. Unless I can make better returns with the excess money I will always put in at least 30%.
