I’ve got a 2018 RS3 and it is loud as fuck!! Always wondered why? I think this explains it. 1 previous owner who obviously liked a bit of extra grunt from the 5 cylinder

How is the inside cabin drone? by keeping the resonators and doing the backbox mod/ taking the insulation out how much louder and pops does it make?

There is a slight increase in sound volume and difference in sound tone, a tad louder, its not just as simple as taking the insulation out, there is a process behind it!
