I have this tune on my '21 TT RS. And MAN what a difference! The TCU tune PUNCHES into the next gear - it's brutal. I highly recommend.

I went from stock -> stage 1+ unitronic last week. HUGE Difference for power!! TCU is way less "harsh" than I originally thought it would be. It's very OEM feeling unless your hard on the throttle and then you feel the shift is much firmer, it's ace!! Doesn't feel broken or bad either. Well impressed with Unitronic software and glad I went with it! Now I need to get all the mods for stage 2.. I need a decat!

Sick car man. I have a 18' in white. I'm running the 034 91 tune. It's probably one of the most conservative tunes for our platform, and still plenty fun. I'm most likely going to switch to Unitronic once they drop flex fuel though.

I was hoping you would choose Uni! I'm in the same spot with a "stock" car that clearly was tuned before I got it. Are you able to let us know what your 0-60 and 1/8, 1/4 are bud?

What're your signs that it was tuned even though they claim "stock"? I test drove one the other day and it did not feel like 400HP at all. The launch control was violent ASF. I have a Ross tech scanner, will it flag it as TD1 if I do scan?

Start reaching out to all the main tuners for our cars with the vin and you’ll be able to find out if they tuned it. Can also transfer the tune back to you with just a transfer fee and power cable purchase. Did this for mine and discovered no one has ever tuned it

How does the Stage 2 TCU feel? From the video's I've watched, I fear that it's much more harsh on the gearbox / durability. I really want to go for this unitronic package but I don't want to fear my gearbox getting ruined from the harsh shifts? What is the difference like between stock TCU and the unitronic stage 2 ?

Great question I'd say it feels really solid. Very sharp, quick, and responsive. Casual driving it's smooth, when you really step on it , you get that extra firm shift. I don't see any issues with it eve. For a daily driver.

Between the s6 stage 1 you used to have to the rs3 stage 1 you have now how does the two cars compare?

That's a great question. I might make a video on this. Both very powerful cars but totally different feel. The S6 is a beast. Drives amazing and smooth being a full size Audi. The RS3 is also very quick but it's a small car that's feels much more nimble.

I feel just like you man. My car was Stock and I put the unitronic stage1 tune and i couldn't really feel a difference.. as a matter of fact I feel it slower! Very odd

@savagepandaprojects exactly. I was expecting more as well. I'm looking into getting a downpipe now and the uniflex software to run e85 and stage1+ ethanol. I should be happy with that.. I'm hoping!

Yo I would take review out of the title you should be the first to pop up when I look up the tune but for some reason regular stage 1 pop up first

Running Stage 1+ Uni with Stage 2 DSG like you are on my 18 S6 and there is a rev limit conflict from 3-4 gears where it will not shift. Same 4-5 WOT. Very frustrated with the tune and have to manually shift when WOT at 92mph & 128mph.

@@savagepandaprojects I sent a bunch of logs into Uni when I first got it flashed but never got any response to them after I sent them what they asked for. I love the power the tune puts out just a shame I have to deal with the shift points manually.

I would be careful. Do a PPI. Plan for the usual oil, coolant leaks, maintenance etc. Have a budget set aside for sure.

You really ought to do the supporting mods to take full advantage of the tune. I have decided that I am not getting the tune done without the supporting mods in place first.

On a car like that, you really should of had a pre purchase inspection. I'd be leary of a car with a tune still on it unless I knew who had done it.
