Obvious answer the Americans want to protect their own automotive industry, they prefer their consumers purchase domestic made products

@@Mike-bt3ki i doubt that, most likely reason is that audi wasn't able to spend the extra money to make the cars meet our safety guidelines, or it was a production issue where they couldn't get the cars to the US... or the last reason, maybe they didnt sell well in the past and Audi thought the US didn't want these kinds of cars.
