Audi RS4 Wagon Review Best Car I Have Driven

Review - 2007 Audi RS4 Wagon. A wagon version of the Audi RS4 was never sold here in the United States. We only received the sedan version. The owner of this car, a subscriber to our channel, bought a Audi S4 wagon and took parts from 3 parted out RS4 to create his own RS4 wagon, complete with engine, drive train, etc. This was my favorite car to drive so far on this channel. No valves needed, I put on a Milltek non-resonated and couldn't be happier, I'd only want to use the valves to make it louder if possible.

Another vehicle option would be the Lexus LS 430. Elegant, reliable, back seat has power options for passengers (heat, recline, massage), was $50k+ when released.. Now you can find them under 10k here in California around the 100k milage mark. I'm actually looking into this one in hopes it's the perfect daily.. says 26 mpg highway on a v8... just now sure how well it will do in California bay area traffic :/

Thanks for subscribing to my channel, Charles. Glad you are enjoying the videos. In my opinion the best overall summer tire that has dry grip and also excellent grip in the rain are the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. I have them on both my 1M and M2.

Thanks Dan ) It is an awesome build, a bespoke US legal Avant RS4 that is unique.... I have had the vicarious pleasure of seeing and being part of drives a handful of times in which Dan co-organizes and such.. You know you have acheived a special build when everyone who encounters this RS4 Avant just smiles and nods..

Glenn, great video! What made you pick the e90 M3 over this back in the day? I keep going back and forth between an RS4 and M3. I have a winter beater, so wouldn't use the RS4 for that. Just for a fun driving experience to split time with my e46 M3.

Great question. When I bought my E90 new back in 2008, I went easy on the options, no NAV, no upgraded stereo, manual trans, so my MSRP was under $62k. The RS4's were more rare, total production 2k instead of about 25k total 2008-2013 for E92/E90 M3 so they really held their value at that time. Slightly used ones were about $70k. Out of my price range and I was doing a lot of autocross, so the E90 M3 was a better car for me. RS4 better suited for grand touring like the owner mentions in the video. Now if they sold a new RS4 wagon back in 2008, that may have tipped the scales.

@@lancegallant3647 Thanks man. In the three years since that comment I picked up an e92 M3 and b8.5 S4 to go along with the e46 M3. I'll usually do a search once or twice a year to check on the prices of the RS4s and STi hatchbacks tho.

Thanks very much mate for the reply, actually just want a v8 manual European car with 4 doors . I have had a few M cars . I know really my best choice for collecting would be the one M but they are a little out if my price range. All wheel drive not important but just thought Audi will be a nice gentleman choice at my age of 50. I will do header back 2.75 exhaust and a tune and a lighter flywheel and a few more things should wake it up a little. 👍 thanks again

Hi from Australia, Glenn, I am torn. Do I buy a rs4 or e90 M3. I have owned e92m3 SC and e90 dct Tuned . I want to go back to 6 speed. I am a crazy 50 year old. Drove the rs4 and it does feel a little slower in a way so I thought a better exhaust and a few mods should do the trick. I feel the e90 will not hold its value as well long term. HELP😬

Hi, thank you for your comment and subscribing to my channel. Holding value will probably be determined on how many were sold in your country. I think the E90 handles better and is more of a sports car than the RS4 but the RS4 can make the perfect grand tourer. I think the RS4 is a little slower but you can mod it. Either one is a great choice. Do you need all wheel drive or do you prefer to stay with a rear drive automobile ?

dspada67 I’d get the rs4. You’re blessed to have that as an option. Here in the states we only get rubbish. The rs4 will hold its value pretty well too. That Quattro, and it’s a manual dude. Rs4, if you haven’t gotten one of the two already.

I'm pretty sure this are Recaro sportster seats and not Euro wingbacks🤔 Also, what's with the trim? The ashtray is different from the rest of the trim which bty looks to not be RS4 spec carbon fiber🤔 Why wasn't the interior part of your review?? And let's call a spade a spade. although a great build you should admit this is a RS4 Clone.

It’s currently at auction on BringaTrailer and already bid higher than most RS4’s have gotten recently and it still has 5 Days to go..
