Very nice video! I love your videos. Ich have a question: I use a high-pressure cleaner from Kärcher and the snow gun from Kärcher ( FJ 6 Foam gun) but the foam structure ist not nice.. i mix 500ml of water with 50ml of valet pro snow foam and the foam structure is still too watery.. I saw a video on KZbin that the foam gun from MJJC is good. What is your opinion about the foam gun and my water-foam-mix? I am from Germany and it would be nice if the foam gun you would recommend me is available in Germany. Thanks for your answer!
@RADGarage3 жыл бұрын
Oh boy, that's a bit of a tricky question. From what I understand about foam quality, a lot of the success is based on the condition of the water you are using. If you have "hard" water, it can make the foam runnier. I could be wrong on this also, but I am lucky to have really nice soft water coming into my garage. It could be the pressure or flow on your machine, and it could also be the cannon you are using. I wonder if it would make more sense if I connected you with another German detailer to see if he/she has better advice for you. If you are interested in that, I have a few in mind. Just drop me an email at radgarageyyc@gmail.com and I will connect you. I am going to be receiving a MJJC foam cannon soon and I will be giving it away after using it in a future video. I think they are reasonably priced, but I can't offer an opinion on their quality as I have yet to see/use one in person. 🙏

@@RADGarage yes. It is dry here.
@RADGarage3 жыл бұрын
My best advice is just to ensure the tires are being stored with no dressings on them. I always do a very thorough cleanse of my tires before storing them for the season and I have seen no evidence of cracking. It could also be the product you are using to dress your tires. Some tire dressings actually dry out the rubber by pulling the oils out to the surface to help them appear more glossy. Always use a high quality tire dressing from a reputable detailing brand. (ie. Another great job, Rick! Do you prefer the Ethos Graphene over other spray-type sealants and coatings?
@RADGarage3 жыл бұрын
Hard to rank them all. I think it really comes down to what kind of life the car is living. There's no sense in my mind to spend huge money on a coating on a car that is kept clean and rarely sees nasty weather. Once that coating is on there, it is now a commitment to maintain and you lose a few options as far as other products you might want to try. I guess you can "top" and "wax" your coatings, but if you have a clean summer driver, what's wrong with a nice spray sealant? Know what I mean?

what is the reason for the soft rinse? why not just use the pressure washer again? Just curious.
@RADGarage3 жыл бұрын
The way I look at it, any dirt the contact wash lifted off the paint is in the mitt or in the soap that sits on the car. At this point, a soft rinse is a faster way of just getting that soap off the car. In the foam pre-wash, I am trying to really force the soap into the narrow gaps and tight crevices so the pressure washer is necessary. I hope that makes sense.

Tim always treats me right! I can't wait to get my hands on Resist. I have been resisting buying it in hopes my friends at Ethos will send me a loving care package! 💌😉

@@RADGarage A little goes a long ways though. I closed my eyes when I tapped on the order button not cheap in Canada with the exchange and Chris needs to make money to..

Yeah, Chris had Resist the other day when I was up there. That's always a convenient option and, like you say, it supports his Canadian business.

Amazing video, ethos isn’t cheap you’re lucky! I’m using a mixt of xtreme solution and turtle wax with some CarPro!

I have to admit, I don't really pay that close of attention to the price of products. I find everything here in Canada expensive. Except big TV's, they seem to be really cheap at the moment. Good luck with the products you listed above. Remember, the quality of the product depends on how happy you are with the results. If the car is clean, the products worked. It's that simple, but we tend to go a little overboard in this regard.

I recently heard a guy say, "Adam's gets the job done, but that's about it". I didn't quite know what to make of that statement. What more does a guy want than a product that does the job? It's such a sickly little niche industry.

@@RADGarage haha wow! Well I used to watch PanTheOrganizer but after pushing down our throats some Chinese coating I stopped watching him. That’s why I prefer watching you, no BS!

Dang, winter again🤦🏽♂️🤷🏾♂️ you are like us but we have hurricanes at least not every year but when we have them we could end up with 1 through 5
@RADGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's kind of the same thing here with winter snow storms. They can come any month of the year, and you never know the severity until they hit. Sucks.

The owner of this RS5 uses it as his winter daily driver. He is currently on the hunt for a special project car that I'm sure he will ensure has all the latest goodies on it!

B8/B8.5 over a B9 any day. Body hasn't aged, and long gone are the days we'll ever see a NA V8 in these again.

@@thomasmartin8813 With the Miktek exhaust, this thing will make your hair stand on end. Cold start rips through the whole house like a V10 R8. I love it.
