Tough one, if I had the four, the TT would never be sold. I love mine. I love driving it, listening to it looking at it, cleaning it and I know when it eventually goes there will be nothing to really replicate that.

Hey, it’s taken me months of deliberating which one I need to let go. Was a tough choice. It really was a game changer in car design when they were released back in ‘98. 👍🏻

Never sell the 3.2 DSG! I’ve got one and a mk4 r32, can’t beat the engines
@FastandFun4 жыл бұрын
Can’t argue with the engine and DSG being great 👍🏻 incredible how the R32 values have gone up strongly whilst the TT have remained low. That’s what a supply/demand market does.

I wouldn’t as the mk1 is due to become sought after....especially the 3.2 V6.

Great vid thanks! Do you reckon these will begin to appreciate I'm value soon? Would love one of these. Just struggling to bring myself to terms with the running costs! But if I was confident I wouldn't lose any money on it, that would offset it. I do almost 20k miles a year see...
@FastandFun4 жыл бұрын
Predicting future appreciation is often difficult and fraught with danger. Normally any gains made in values are offset by running costs (maintenance, repair, insurance). I expect slow growth in TT values but it will only be the low mileage, well maintained cars that appreciate whilst the higher mileage cars would continue to be available cheaply due to the numbers still on the road. 20k a year will certainly impact on the resale value as the mileage will escalate quickly. Unless of course you are able to use the TT as a second car. Good luck any way

@@FastandFun Hi Richard, thanks for replying. Okay I thought so, makes a lot of sense! I would love a weekend car, but two cars is just too much for me to run right now!

Hi i dont think you can buy anything bettet value. There are quite a number about so i dont think they are going to zoom in value any time soon..but it dosnt cost a lot .mine has cost me 1k a year and that includes the initial purchase .

Great videos! I've been looking at getting an 04 plate 3.2 dsg, but it would need to be a daily driver and only clock up a few miles per day. Also I have a 9 and 6 Yr old. Any chance I'd get a booster seat in the back? How tall would a kid have to be before it's a no go. We've got a people carrier for long family journeys.
@FastandFun4 жыл бұрын
There’s not much legroom and even less headroom (esp with a booster seat). Only way to be sure is do a trial fit when you view one.

Currently in the market for one of these, what sort of price are you looking for?
@FastandFun4 жыл бұрын
£5k - it’s got FSH, every x2 years/10k miles at Audi/Specialist, with every single receipt since 2004. It’s on 82k. The video doesn’t do it justice. Fantastic condition.

No don't. Sold mine and want another.

I did the same a while ago. Had the 1.8T before this. I really need to get my older MX5 inside which means the TT would go outside and in its current condition really want it garaged.

You managed to sell? If you have, someone has got a nice motor.
@FastandFun4 жыл бұрын
Yes, I sold it a few days ago. However, I managed to get a fair price for the car and they got as you said, a nice motor. I wasn’t happy to keep the car of that standard outside this winter, otherwise it would just have deteriorated in condition.
